Please can Simon, Mel B, Nicole and Kelly be a panel

Jack_ 23-11-2015 04:38 PM

Louis desperately needs to come back next year. Cheryl's expendable to me and I'd rather swap her for Sharon again but she'll be staying no doubt.

Louis and Dermot back and the show is saved. I think the former is almost a given, but hopefully Simon works overtime to try and convince Dermot to return.

If Grimmy had no music knowledge he wouldn't be on the radio. The radio is definitely MUCH more than just playing a song lmfao

That's not technically true. There are plenty of people who work in speech radio who have no reason to have any extensive musical knowledge and as such don't, and indeed, those who work in music radio but don't host a specialist show and have no control over the stuff they play because it's all from the playlist don't really need that much knowledge either. Radio for the most part is about the links between songs, not the music itself (unless that's what the show is about).

However this doesn't apply to Grimmy as he used to host a specialist show. It's not his lack of/abundance of musical knowledge I care about, it's the fact he has been completely uninteresting as a judge. He's just 'meh'. Considering he replaced one of, if not the most iconic X Factor judge there has been just because Simon thought he'd pull in younger viewers (which he's failed to do), he's been spectacularly bad. Judges on this show need to be one thing, and that's entertaining. That's what this show is about. It doesn't matter how much knowledge or how equipped you are to judge talent, so long as you're entertaining as a judge that's all that matters. And Grimmy isn't.

I disagree that Dermot needs to come back as people won't take back tracking seriously they need a experienced host who knows what there doing.

I'd give it to Davina or Ferne

Grimmy has absolutely no place on the panel.

Daniel-X 23-11-2015 05:11 PM

No the ideal judging panel are Simon, Sharon, Tulisa, Louis

LukeB 23-11-2015 05:13 PM

Tulisa :omgno:

LukeB 23-11-2015 05:15 PM

I really want it to go back to S5-7 era! those are my top 3 seasons too

Dermot and the judges from those seasons need to come back

Daniel-X 23-11-2015 05:16 PM

Tulisa was a goddess of a judge. She always had brilliant song choices for her acts and her scalping Gary's red wine breath <3

Denver 23-11-2015 05:17 PM

Tulisa is the only mentor to win with a group :idc: she is a legend

She flopped with the girls though, the song choices were awful and did not mentor Ella correctly.

I think every judge would fail Ella as she is a singer/song writer she doesn't sound right doing someone else song

reece(: 23-11-2015 05:22 PM

Tulisa was better in her first season, she was too moody in her 2nd. The Gary lashing served tho.

She didn't want to be there the second season as that's when her problems started

LukeB 23-11-2015 05:23 PM

If she didn't want to be there why did she sign up for it?

Because she had agreed to it before the problems started and there was no way out

She didn't have to, it was her choice.. she wasn't hold hostage to be the judge. It would have annoyed them yes but getting another judge wouldn't be hard. Nicole wasn't a perm judge until boot camp.

When she signed she was happy to return but things happened and she couldn't quit so I don't understand where your getting at?

She was contracted you can't just break a contract

Amy Jade 23-11-2015 05:43 PM

Anton is a bitter loser, he knew from his first audition who was judging him and he never had an issue until the feedback wasnt praise.

Glad he's gone.

Raph 23-11-2015 05:46 PM

Definitely, he's a terrible judge/mentor and what even is he.

Ideally i'd want: Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis back :)

That's not necessarily true. If she signed a 2 year contract if she refused to return to fill the contracted agreement they could sue her
