:joker::joker: Yep, and her venom is out in the open, not whispered behind peoples backs. She hasn't said anything she hasn't already said to their faces. Big difference.

Her insults to Tony were too blatant and over the top and obviously she was spouting vile language as the bleep machine was in overdrive. I don't like Tony he would be towards the bottom of my list but I feel that it WAS cruel to throw the beetle on the fire when he could have been just put elsewhere but even if that wasn't the issue she went into an over the top rant and frankly I think she didn't do herself any favours. Anyone else agree?

closer to you then ever blue - do you want proof ? I have filed for divorce and there is no shame in saying I got this one wrong. :joker:

Well, after all, Kazanne, it's only a TV show, and at the end of the day - in fcat at the end of the series, I am sure both Tony and Lady C will speak.

Tensions get to all of course. Remember, there has been no violence.:cheer2:

That I would not permit.:nono:

It IS just a TV show, there has been violence against the beetle who did nothing to her:hehe:, I'm not keen on Tony myself, but last night I did feel sorry for him and she slid even further down in my estimation,to think I really liked her the first week:laugh: anyway we like who we like I guess:wavey:

I seen those 2 awful people as having dark souls; they had the smirking, sneering sort of fake forthrightness that I hate. Lady C is a totally direct hilarious pantomime villain. She is obviously different to them as you don't like her so its no surprise that I do.

Thing is I DID like her,but the tossing the beetle in the fire spoke reems about her,now THAT is a dark soul in my book, maybe have 'just' been a beetle, but shows she is a cold hearted bitch imo. how is being nasty to Tony about his personal life 'pantomime' we get she doesn't like him.but to muddy his past like that was imo again, vile!

I didn't like the beetle thing AT ALL, but then I hate it when they are crunching on live beetles and crickets too so I can't be hypocritical. It may be a part of the show but they don't HAVE to eat them and I'm sure it makes no difference to the insects whether it's for the show or not, they are still being chewed alive. Not to mention trampled alive in the trials.
I think too that people brought up in different cultures (isn't Lady C from Jamaica?) have different mind sets regarding insects and animals - eg, don't the Chinese eat dogs? I think most of us in the Western world respect all living creatures, though I have seen shops with that awful fly - fryer hanging up that sizzles when the fly touches it. Yuck. And we boil poor lobsters and crabs alive which I would never eat, and we kill 'garden pests' so we can have pretty flowers etc, so....
I didn't like it one bit, though. It doesn't put me off finding her entertaining though, just as Helen bullying Jale didn't put you off enjoying her....

I don't know why he made such an issue about the bug on a show where people eat live cockroaches and witchety grubs which imo is far crueler that a quick death on the fire. Surely he knows this about the show and knew he might have to potentially eat one in a trial if chosen to do it?

:clap1:

Incredibly hypocritical of Tony happy to take money from a show which kills thousands of insects, I didn't agree with her putting it on the fire though

waterhog 29-11-2015 01:41 PM

I think you have to get things in context - but ladyC done something deliberate and this is what is causing the anger.

Well there you have it Jet,you were doing well until
that last sentence ,you had to have a swipe didn't you? I did NOT enjoy Helen having a go at Jale at all, infact if you did some searching you would see I disliked Helen with a venom the first couple of weeks, but the fact she could admit she was wrong and apologised to Jale made me see she wasn't all bad,now can you see Colin doing that? NEVER in a million years,so imo Colin can entertain you by throwing creatures in a fire,I bet she goes hunting too,I can see her with a silly hat on and jodpurs, but it's so entertaining, pfft.

The difference is 'the old bat' says it to their face as well. No one else is that honest.

Since you are so upset by the beetle why aren't you condemning them for eating
Live bugs? No eyelids are batted over that. It is a shame she chose to throw the beetle on the fire but in context, in this show, its a pretty non issue.

I don't know how many times I have to say this,I don't agree with anything being eaten live ,boiled live, infact anything that is live, and who is to say Tony would eat any of the bugs? has he eaten any? he was slow on the trial as he was scared of crushing the crabs,I think a lot of the tasks are uncalled for ,the only person I have seen eat live bugs is the old bat herself,I am sure there are many eyelids raised and it may be a none issue to you,it's not to me it's downright cruel especially when it was done purposely,as people keep saying two wrongs don't make a right. I am not upset but surprised people think she can be excused for doing that,I am sure no one else would have been

Oh,I'm sure she was warning some of the girls against Tony and Duncan, and if any of the guys were perving round the young girls like she is the 'boys' they would get hell on here.

I only swipe when I've been swiped at. :smug: And you've swiped again by saying her throwing creatures on a fire entertains me when I made in clear it didn't.
Helen Wood is still a horrible troublemaker with a chip on her shoulder whose face is never far away from a sneer at others expense, and have you forgotten how Hopkins said horrible, personal things about nearly every HM in CBB, not to mention how she makes cruel remarks about overweight people and even the disabled among many others? Yet you admired her. Lady C has nothing on that vile bitch. I see Lady C as a pantomime villain, nothing more, nothing less.

Is this some tit for tat game ?we will never agree, but imo Colin I far more sinister,You keep getting me wrong,I never admired KH ,stop making things up,I think people take what she says too literally sometimes, there is usually a reason behind what she says,I do think she goes over the top sometimes ,but it doesn't eat away at me,and as for Helen, she won me over so nothing more to be said and this is about the pantomime dame who thinks she will "slit all their throats" ahem, and fry live insects ,whatever floats her boat eh?

If you weren't a Hopkins fan then you had me fooled as you defended her plenty. Or maybe you just liked trying to rile people up?
I think Lady C will be gone tonight and I'm only watching because of her so if she does you'll get rid of both of us. :hehe: Most of the others are total bores. Who is your fave anyway?

George is a nice lad, your taste is improving greatly. :hehe:

...I really don't see how it can be equated...'I'll eat live bugs etc because I realise it's part of the gameshow I've decided to be a part of and if I don't, I'll neither be a team player, winning stars and food or be entertainment for the viewers'..with, 'I'll pop a bug on the fire for the absolute heck of it'....I hate the eating tasks but still, everyone knows that it's a part of it, unlike what she did so I don't see the hypocritical bit at all...anyways that aside, because I can't say that I'm grieving for the bug either/it was just a weird and unnecessary thing to do...she 'crossed' the line ages ago with how nasty and spiteful she is with her comments, whether the other person is acting well or not, her responses are way OTT and just horrid....she's been the biggest let down for me and is no kind of dame at all, pantomime or otherwise...so #team Kaz with this.....
