I was quite disappointed with last nights episode. There is still a hole left in the show from the Garvey's departure.

The new family is okay although the grandad is too similar to Madge, and the little girl is annoying. The writer is really out of touch with what's current, the whole kids acting like Honey Boo Boo was funny maybe 3 or 4 years ago, now it's just annoying if anything.

I think this show is running out of steam. Which is a shame because it's one of my favourite shows on TV. I blame this due to Derren (the creator) writing every episode. It would help if some other writers came in to introduce new characters and shake the show up a bit. The problem is by writing every episode Derren is starting to come around in circles, his new characters are just different renditions of past characters.

We need the Garvey's back, or even the Dykes (they grew on me). I'll see how this series goes as we have some surprise appearances along the way, although last night was a very weak opening.

That little girl is seriously annoying and cringey. What were they thinking.

The scenes with Keenneth and Jaqueline were great! I like the new girl Amber!

The grandfather makes me laugh, I found him different to Madge. He's kind of nasty but at the same time really likeable. Where as Madge was more openly rude.

Really looking forward to Pauline returning with Geoff and Noreen.

I much prefer to have the 2 girls back from season 5 instead of Tiger and his friend.

Joyce is great! Glad Mateo is back.

It feels like an odd season as loads have left and we've got random old characters back. I really need the Garvey's back as soon as possible.

Glad Madge is at least returning for a bit.

I still enjoy it and will be watching, it's harmless gun and Madge is an icon :flutter:

I think the cast change is too extreme, we at least need one of the previous families back, the Dykes grew on me a lot.

The last series which really made me laugh was series 6.

Can't believe the show is 10 years old next year!

I thought it was okay, I missed a few bits cause my food arrived so need to watch it back. I quite like the new old guy and I didn't mind the little girl actually, it's Tiger's new friend I didn't like. The thick act is going to get very old, very fast, and none of it was funny. Glad Troy is back but it'd be nice to have him and Gavin together.

Still love Kenneth, Leslie, Joyce, Mateo (I had completely forgot he 'left' and hadn't been in the episode until he arrived...was it last series him and Liam got on that coach? I thought it was the one before :conf:)

Also had the man trying to get the job been in it before? I recognise him.

Looking forward to Madge's return, and Geoff and Noreen...though why they brought Pauline back is a mystery to me

omg our family has been meaning to do this for years! Kinda lost interest after the Garvey's left though, they're the ones I'd like to meet the most

The season before last was when we had Rustie Lee as a guest at that party with Jacqueline and Kenneth.

The last kind of scene was with Joyce reading a letter from that guy who dances and the one she really likes.

Oh and Michael going to the beach to meet that girl who took them on the boat ride.

Yeah I really miss the garvey's :( such brilliant characters.

We need them back and I'd love to see the 2 girls who were in S5 (2012).

It was okay last night. It's been better.

Kenneth still makes me scream though. I love Lesley, Joyce, Jacqueline and Mateo. Tiger is very easy on the eye but thought his dad was funnier than his friend.

I'm looking forward to The Oracle, Noreen and Pauline coming back :love:

I'm looking forward to all the returning characters. I hope we see Troy stay around too, and hope there's some mention of Gavin (shame he's not back too).

Oliver doesn't seem to keen on returning as he thinks he's growing out of acting. So if the garvey's return in the future it might be without Michael.

An ok finale but nothing spectacular. This season has been meh, there's been a couple of decent episodes.

Thought that episode was brilliant

It was decent, I think the show just needs some old faces back.

I'd be here for Trudy and Sam returning.
