Yeah, that's why I'm more interested in this because it's not an adaption so I'll watch it without knowing the story beforehand like with the books AND JK Rowling's wrote it herself so

I like the first three HP films for nostalgia purposes and they were pretty accurate adaptions imo but the rest were mostly garbage. Apart from some impressive stuff in the last 2. But 4-6 are AWFUL.

Oh has she? :amazed:

Have you read any of her other books since she finished Harry Potter?

Yeah, her first screenplay. :clap1:

I've read the Cuckoo's Calling and have the Silkworm sitting in my kindle app ready to be read.

Rob! 12-04-2016 12:44 AM

I keep starting the cuckoo's calling but I haven't actually got all the way through it yet :joker:

Marsh. 12-04-2016 12:45 AM

I was kind of disappointed in it by the end but it's worth the read. I kind of predicted the outcome though.

Rob! 12-04-2016 12:47 AM

I'll read it at some point. It's sat on my bookshelf staring at me.

Marsh. 12-04-2016 12:47 AM

I just saw there's another one out "Career of Evil". I didn't realise.

Rob! 12-04-2016 12:47 AM

Not a new series :clap1:

can we read it together :fan:

I like reading a book at the same time as someone else... I always have so many things to say but no one to say them too :(

How fast do you read? :smug:

Marsh. 12-04-2016 12:49 AM

And I read the new stuff she's put up on Pottermore earlier. All information regarding America in the Potter universe useful for the new films. I wish she'd just wrote more books though instead.

Rob! 12-04-2016 12:50 AM

I still don't get why she couldn't have just made this play a new Harry Potter book tbh

Apparently it was that other guy's idea and she said once people see it they'll realise it could only be a play.

I took that to mean it'll be boring. :hehe: I don't like plays much.

Rob! 12-04-2016 12:52 AM

Cretin

Marsh. 12-04-2016 12:59 AM

Omg she's actually written about the other magic schools from around the world. :amazed:

Rob! 12-04-2016 01:02 AM

I forgot my Pottermore login years ago :worry:

Marsh. 12-04-2016 01:04 AM

So did I but they've overhauled the site. You don't need your log in now.

It's basically just a wikipedia for Harry Potter now.

I just visit the "JK Rowling's New Writing" section for updates.

Rob! 12-04-2016 01:05 AM

OOOOH :amazed:

Marsh. 12-04-2016 01:07 AM

:flutter:

Glenn. 12-04-2016 01:35 AM

She is literally more useful than our Queen. Liz should pack up Buckingham palace and just house swap with JK

I imagine it'll be adapted into either a film or a miniseries within the next few years. I doubt Hollywood would be willing to let a new HP property go without an adaptation for long.

Braden 12-04-2016 02:06 PM

This won't meet the standards of the Harry Potter series, but I am excited nonetheless.

Marsh. 12-04-2016 04:15 PM

All this Eddie Redmayne hate. :worry:

You have me scared for the movie now. I've never seen him in anything.
