:joker::joker::joker: When I tasted the cod before I felt like I was in a bushtucker trial and the prize was not upsetting my future Mother in-law.

Smoked trout on crostinis for starter (:omgno: We usually have prawn cocktail I don't know why we're having this, we were meant to be having salmon pearls or something)

Turkey, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, sprouts, mashed carrots and turnips, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, pigs in blankets, peas and gravy.

Trifle or Christmas pudding for desert (Me and me mam don't like Christmas pudding)

Glenn. 22-12-2015 05:28 PM

Prawn and Celery Cocktail and Bread and Pate for starter

Traditional Turkey Dinner and Beef with all the trimmings

Fresh Cream Yule Log and selection of Gateaus, Trifles, Christmas Pudding and desserty bits.

We had our official Christmas dinner on Sunday as daughter will have gone back down south for Xmas day.

Roast turkey crown stuffed with cranberry, orange and pork.
Roast beef topside.
Gravy, Yorkies.
Scorched minted sprouts.
Carrot and swede mash.
Fantail roast spuds(with cumin sprinkled on instead of coriander seeds by mistake:blush:
Honey glazed parsnips and sweet potatoes, roasted of course.
Caulie cheese.
Afters was a raspberry roulade with fresh cream poured over.

Christmas Day it is just a Salmon Wellington with asparagus and broccoli spears, caulie cheese and baby boiled new spuds followed by a berry cheesecake or Xmas Pud.
