'Allahu akbar' is not a death chant though, it means 'god is the greatest' and is commonly said during Mosque prayer services. It is not a jihadi extremist thing.. they are simply perverting it. It's like when christians say "thank you father".

Anyway this guy is clearly an idiot and I'm glad he wasn't able to kill anyone. I doubt he was affiliated to ISIS, they usually don't run and shout 'allahu akbar' while wearing a fake suicide vest and with a gun clearly visible.

:laugh: I KNOW what "Alluah Akbar" means Josh, but this has all been a nasty mix-up anyway. He was NOT a terrorist or an idiot and he was not shouting "Alluah Akbar" either, He was a newly appointed chef who was on his first day on the job and he mistook the Police Station for his new place of work.

He was dressed in a chef's vest, carrying his meat cleaver, and was late for work - hence why he was running towards the building shouting; "Alan's Snackbar?" (:laugh: Sorry LT. )

Yeah, not the fake vest... but they frequently do shout it.

Anyhoo, he's my favourite kind of terrorist. A dead one.

its not solely a death chant, but it is something commonly spoken/shouted by suicide bombers prior to them blowing themselves up, that's a fact.
