I think he said too much though. He should have refused to even justify his opinion and called her the bigot she is.

Winston said that gay adoption is child abuse, yet Emma is the bigoted one? :conf:

BUT, Emma was a ****ing disgrace there. Worst interview I have ever seen on BB.

:clap1:

I wonder how many people on here would have applauded Emma had Tila being evicted and being dragged for her nazi comments.

Well for starters, if Tila hadn't been ejected then those comments would likely never have been brought up (considering Winston being homophobic was practically the first thing we saw of him on the show)

Learn what the word bigot means:

noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots

a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.

Completely agree Caitlin and it's one of the things Emma is terrible for, I want to know the answers to the questions she is asking them I don't want her asking them a question then shouting over them when they attempt to ****ing answer it!

I'm honestly shocked you're actually trying to defend Winston's disgusting homophobic comments while attacking Emma for challenging him for it?

ps: bigot is synonymous to 'homophobe', 'prejudiced person' according to google also. So I guess he is a bigot according to that :)

Not relevant. I was making a hypothetical situation where it was brought up what the reaction would have been.

I'm not commenting on his opinions. I am defending his right to hold them. As he pointed out, we live in a wonderful democracy.

But it looks like we won't be living in a democracy for long when the sheep-like public are happy to be told by reality shows that certain opinions aren't allowed.

Winston's opinions are his business. He doesn't have to justify them to some bit of fluff reality presenter after leaving an entertainment show.

I blow hot and cold on my opinion of Emma as an interviewer but I thought she was BRILLIANT tonight with that vile little creep. He kept dodging the question 'Did you really say those words' but she was having NONE of it. Her feelings for him were clear as day by the way she interviewed him.

If she hadn't been so blunt people would say she let him get away with it. Kudos to her tonight in my opinion

Oh I think she was right to 'challenge' him on it. But not to make the whole interview the same bloody thing. I swear it felt like watching a mother telling her teenage kid off. It was ridiculous. You cannot ask someone questions, then talk over them before they even get a chance to answer..thats not 'fair'

I say 'fair' like that as I am not sure if views like his even deserve a fair reaction..but I did not like what I saw tonight and it really does seem C5 are intent on destroying the guy. I mean, the task was set up SOLELY to make sure the house knew about that one comment. was anyone elses anywhere near as controversial? X has had 5 boobjobs compared to that? They put him in with the intention of either

1. Making a villain out of him for the controversy
2. Ejecting him for the controversy

One of the 2. They knew what he was and yet they still paid him for it

I was gobsmacked throughout the entire thing and I thought Winston handled her very well.

In his shoes I would have told her my opinions were nothing to do with her and i was there to discuss the reality show.

HE SAID THAT GAY PEOPLE ADOPTING A CHILD IS LIKE CHILD ABUSE. I mean really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sheep like public ???? We know what is right and wrong and can form our own opinions not be told by anybody or any show. He made his opinions the business of the public when he totally slammed a very very important part of it and insulted them !!!!!!

If he was there for the reality show he shouldn't have brought up his opinions in the VT and aired the views in public.

He didn't edit the VT. he didn't control what was asked of him in the VT and he didn't control the quote that came up in that task. he also didn't decide what was broadcast.

The producers did all of that. And why wouldn't they when so many viewers are easy to manipulate.
