hang your head in shame Emma for group bullying the easiest target that you could find.

Of course she will because they've overcome that and it's an illness. There is no excuse for homophobia and I for one am THRILLED we have people like Emma Willis on our TV standing up for basic human rights. Bless you, Mrs Emma Willis!

MB. 09-01-2016 01:46 PM

But Carol from Macclesfield said with questionable grammar that Emma woz an horrible bully and Winston should of won, why isnt that in the news bloody lefties!!!

The saintly Emma Willis who fronted the TV equivalent of a lynch mob after the guy had been found guilty by a baying kangaroo court. Such a proud moment for her

To be fair the interviews are dictated by the producers. They obviously planned for the whole interview to be based around the gay adoption comment. Not that I'm defending Emma, although she certainly would have had permission to be biased and would have had producers yapping down her ear piece through the entire thing, letting her carry on.

I have never seen anything like it. When I woke up this morning I thought i had dreamed it at first.

I don't think it can be said enough times how brilliantly Winston handled it. What a gentleman he is. I would have told Emma to fornicate with herself and walked away.

The underlined bit is undoubtedly correct. And I think Winston should have immediately shut her down and said "I don't wish to discuss that sorry". Would have been brilliant to watch her flounder then.

I was shouting at my tv for him to walk off, that would have made Emma feel a right daft twat !!!

Jarvio 09-01-2016 01:55 PM

Why are people furious?

She had every right to grill him. Because she is a person, just like the rest of us, with personal opinions, and everyone has the right to freedom of speech. Winston has the right to his messed up views, Emma has the right to grill him. Simple as that.

Huh? Both Darren and Daniella would gladly discuss their addictions, indeed they already have. I don't think either tried to excuse it or blame it on religion.

Winston found it difficult to talk about his views (that gay adoption equals child abuse) because it's a ****ing moronic comment with no basis in fact.

What you think is ageism, racism and misandry is actually a host conducting an interview, trying to get a straight answer out of someone dodging the question. Pretty normal really.

Maybe thats why she had 2 in.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 09-01-2016 03:12 PM

The whole world always rallies together when the gays are offended.

Terrible comment but to spend 2 interviews on that one comment was annoying.

If he'd answered the question instead of dodging it they could have spent time on other things, like him leering at Nancy for instance.

Livia 09-01-2016 04:31 PM

He's a ranting old homophobe with no boundaries, self control or self awareness. He deserved to be questioned on his ridiculous opinions... but honestly? Nothing goes in, he will never wake up to the fact he's a dinosaur. He's probably never considered the possibility that he may be wrong about anything.

A lesser man would mention she's probably been battered about the ring a few times, thank god I'm not that man.

LMAO...

jennyjuniper 09-01-2016 05:02 PM

A good presenter should be impartial and conduct an interview from that position. That doesn't mean to say that questions shouldn't be asked, but Emma tends to let her own personal opinions colour her interviews.
