It's astounding how readily some people are to trivialise issues as serious as racism, not to mention throwing around such strong accusations without anything close to a shred of evidence. Disgusting.

Depends if the producers had told her too..which I do think happened last night tbh.

Yes the guy had vile and outdated views, but this was apparently from his entrance VT for gods sake. I don't think he was homophobic enough inside the house for their liking (its all about the controversy afterall ;) ) hence bringing out that ridiculous task to focus on something he said years back, while others got...boob jobs and such brought up? It was quite mental really.

And yes, he didn't backtrack on his views, he clearly does believe what he said. But I still do not think it was right to set him up in that way, and then stick the boot in after he was evicted too. He was only put in to be ejected in the first place, I think most can agree on that. But he did not call John a **** or call Chris a batty boy or whatever, much to the dismay of the producers. hence the show that was put on last night.

All my opinion

I disagree with how she went on, but I seriously doubt it was about his colour.

This for me too.

This is why I love you - this is how I feel but I'm too dumb to write it so well haha

I'm not sure I would describe it as bullying...but the producers are pretty cruel and will do anything for headlines. And its worked, again

The housemates had a go for his opinions. They did not bully him :conf:

The crowd boo the **** out of everyone so they don't count

People will have opinions on his views, thats what happens when you express views like that. I don't see that as bullying. However I do think the producers (and Emma, IF she wasn't told what to say) are completely in the wrong as they clearly did target him and set him up for it

I literally feel sorry for people who think she's racist just because she doesn't like a bigot like Winston. He gave plenty of reasons to be disliked his skin colour is irrelevant.

It was a pack mentality tbf.Half that crowd more than likely did'nt give shat about what Winston said.Emma was bang out of order and highly unprofessional and Rylan got silly towards the end.
Not racist from Emma though.Just her trying to make herself look like some kind of PC hero.

This pretty much if anything he displayed more sexist and lavicious tendencies in the house than homophobia

It is Emma that is the bigot. Look at definition of bigot:

Quote:

bigot

/ˈbɪɡət/

noun

noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots

a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.
It describes Emma and her cronies to a tee.

Or her being a decent human being who doesn't hold archaic views?

There was a thread on DS yesterday saying that Winston was the easy target for eviction...not for being homophobic or anything...but because he is black. Yes, the viewers would vote him out because they are racist

I know we get these type of threads year after year accusing everyone and their aunt of racism because someone is voted out, but come on. Some sense needs to be applied at times

No, but the fact that she's a decent human being should (which I can't say for others)

She did herself proud, end of
