Thank you Vicky so glad you are back on the forum x

And that is why I like you Chuff,I may not always agree as you don't with me,but you are true to youself and dont follow a crowd. Please or offend you you are true to your beliefs.

Because they aren't. Just as we on this forum aren't either.

It's a few hundred people in a couple of million, we're talking a 0.03% sample.

Just incase, I wasn't meaning you there, I mean the forum in general

Facebook should be listened to when it follows forum opinion, if it doesn't, its all just the teen girls and cat ladies...

Im on FB and I hate cats and loathe being called a cat lady, it makes me so sad and I have palpitations, maybe one day it will give me a coronary and I might die and then what, you ot will be MURDERERS, from small acorns etc

Maybe. Everyone knows a cat lady though, or knows of one.

My mother in law is our local cat lady

My local breakfast radio presenter is a self-admitted "cat lady" and she's proud of that so

Shaun 09-01-2016 04:25 PM

I don't know where the cats came into it. I've always called them "Facebook mums", the ones that are really vocal and loud and opinionated and always commenting on stuff on the website about how PC has gone mad and sharing pictures in support of the troops or poppies or against animal abuse. It's basically seen as why younger users have switched to Twitter, Snapchat and Tumblr (that and wanting older relatives not to see what you post )

Edit: could be because cat gifs/videos are popular on there I suppose?

Oh behave when it is used, it is meant as a put down not a term of endearment! Given that probably as many men post on FB why haven't they got a nickname

What you doing sniffing about cat women anyway, kinda weird in itself in my opinion.

It's to do with them being lonely and only having cats for comfort. Nothing wrong with that!

Shaun 09-01-2016 04:28 PM

I didn't say it was a term of endearment. I find them quite tedious and uninformed if anything.

Twitter Tweens can be either gender, unless I am missing something cat ladies are exclusively female? And the term is never used in a positive way :D:
