The people I see as real heroes are not people most would know, they are the people who each day of every year give their time and often at times money too to help and support people that society and govts largely neglect most of the time.

Those nameless people who ask for and expect nothing other than to try to help make the lives of anyone in need across all areas of need better in some way by their efforts.
Never crowing about it publicly and never ever seeking recognition or reward for same either.

The other people I really admire and look up to, are those who care for elderly relatives at home, no matter the stresses and sadness there may be, especially to family with such as alzheimers.
Who get virtually a pittance for doing so and still do it.

They are the real heroes to me not overblown power mad politicians and celebrities.

Madonna and Hillary Clinton.

Suit yourself and no need to be offensive Alex, I have my views and you have yours so just ignore my posts and stop being unnecessarily offensive.
Absolutely no need for that response whatsoever.

i think it's important that you know how i feel though.

i puked so hard that it literally couldn't just shoot out of my mouth, it was so forceful that it shot out of every orifice on my face, including my eyes. chunky, slimey, stomach acidy puke.... it was PAINFUL for me.

you caused me pain.

How old are you for goodness sake, really Alex time to grow up and respect others views as I do yours too.

That just sounds utterly ridiculous and offensive.
Quite frankly if my idea of real heroes in life offended you than that's your problem and not mine in any way.
Thankfully I appear to have grown up more than a bit already.

oh please, what have you ever done for them if they are truly your heroes? you've spent more time and money on your local indian takeaway than you have for your supposed "heroes" gimme a break.

I'm very surprised at that.
No need for being that offensive to others, especially other members too, at any age however in my view.

I treat everyone on the forum with respect. disagreement is not disrespect and some people just don't get my dry sense of humor.

You don't know me at all. so stuff your insults where the sun don't shine. I know what I've done and I don't need to prove myself to you. So go f... yourself.

With respect no you do not lostalex and many times you go way too far too.

This thread asks a question of members, they give their views as to the question asked and you should not be able to come back to them with grossly offensive comments as you did to me.

I don't care one bit for your humour,I rarely respond to any of your posts and would never do so in any form as you already have here to myself and indeed another member too.

Go and take your sometimes sick humour to someone who appreciates it, I do not.

Stop turning my thread into a bitch fest or I'll put you over my knee and give you five of the best.

She lost her family to the nazis, lived in fear every day of being discovered and managed to write about her experiences. Eventually she was murdered too. To me she was a hero and the family that gave her shelter.
