what like being stuck in the Big Brother house?

Different circumstances though. She can leave the BB house so it's unlikely to bring on claustrophobia whereas she was unable to leave the room she was in.

She looked genuinely shook by the experience :worry:

There is an epidemic of claustrophobia sweeping through the BB house,, everytime things don't go hm8s way the symptoms come to the surface, last night victim was Tiffany ,who suddenly developed it after she was chosen as toxic ,it comes on pretty quickly and goes just as quick ,she was fine after 2 fags and a bit of camera time :bored:

I don't know for sure, but it looked to me like Tiffany was having a panic attack. Symptom of claustrophobia sometimes are part of a panic attack.

I suspect that she was afraid of the 'therapy' Gillain was talking about and did not want to get into her issues (i.e. recent miscarriage) and just panicked. When Gillian assured her that she wasn't going to have to do therapy...you could see that Tiffany visibly calmed down and was able to go back to the room and finish the task.

I do believe a lot of Tiffany's OTT reactions are for airtime (ie. the David Guest is dead reaction) but this seemed real to me. We will never really know. :)

Do you think she thought she was incarcerated forever,:worry: do they do psyche tests on HMs, pretty sure they know their phobias before they go in :hee:

Tbf, the camera probably is a wide angle lens so the room is probably smaller than it appears. Those beds don't look much bigger than a twin. When Tiffany was leaning over down on the side of the bed, you could tell the beds were fairly small. It is not like the room was the size of a Japanese apartment or anything.

Tiff's reaction had to be psychological. It did not help that 4-5 people were sharing that room including having someone to come in and critique. Combine that with cameras and your emotions are probably intensified. Can you imagine being in a psych ward with mostly white walls with cameras while some strangers are watching your every step? Sounds like some kind of movie...

Having claustrophobia doesn't mean that you genuinely think you'll be trapped somewhere forever though. It's an irrational fear, so applying rationality to the persons mindset isn't entirely relevant. I don't know what's involved in the psyche tests, but anyone can become claustrophobic depending on the situation they're in, noone walks around being claustrophobic the whole time
