Pellegrini is a great manager though and he won't be out of a job for long i could see Chelsea or Valencia taking him in the summer

I hope he does get something worthwhile. Shame he can't be with City in some capacity but they've had their heart set on Pep for years. They'd have got rid of anybody regardless of their success.

Pellegrini possibly guiding MCFC to 4 trophies (OK so CL is a stretch) and that's still not enough.

If PEP wants to show how good he is why doesn't he save Aston Villa, or Swansea. Surely a man of his much reported talents can keep Villa in the Premier? I'm sick of Pep being praised for taking over already great teams , tweaking a side with big talent and getting hailed as a genius. He inherited a treble winning Bayern side and still won less.

Players nowadays want to go to so called plastic clubs like MCFC, PSG , Chelsea etc as they have the best resources, managers, a nice academy for their sons (most ex MU players's sons go to City academy, rich foreign suger daddies willing to buy titles). If the impossible happens and Neymar or Messi decided to join the EPL I know which Manchester club they'd join.:joker:

at least MC have a plan

MU are about to be the MC of the 90s and 2000s

i would hate to be a MU fan at the mo

MU are a victim of the hanging on to the past.

Fergie was amazing but the football landscape has changed. MU IMHO needs a Director of Football. Woodward is great and negotiating lucrative sponsorship mega deals but he's not a football man.

Manchester united is too romantic and nostalgic eg letting Sir Bobby veto appointing Mourinho, allowing Fergie sole reign in choosign successor Moyles, allowing Bigger to be deputy manager/ Assistant etc. Pep would not stand for Giggs as assistant. He brings in his own team.

There's a reason why most MU legends have put their sons in the City Academy.
