When Wenger does leave which will be in the next couple of seasons I suspect, the League will deeply miss him, and Arsenal will go through a worse time of it than Man Utd as Arsenal won't come out as Champions when Arsenal do lose Wenger.

The guy is holding us back, there are loads of managers out there that could improve us and take us further, that all depends if the club hire the right man.

We haven't even come out as champions with him in charge anyway.. not for the last 11 years & it won't happen again.

David O'Leary

Tony Adams tried management, Wycombe? And failed massively.

No offense to any Wycombe fans that might be reading this post, but they're really not good enough to know how good a Manager is or not.

I would test Tony Adams out at a team like MK Dons or something before considering him for the Arsenal job.

I still think Tuchel is man for job. He is fairly young, tactical brilliant, clever, looks like he could be a future elite level manager, got European football experience. Wenger was not elite level prior to joining Arsenal. A young manager could easily do a 6 - 9 year stretch.

well Wycombe is a club, with not so good players

give him a team with good players :)

if you give Guardiola or Mourinho, a team with no good players, they'll fail as well

If Guardiola had taken over AV from Sherwood they would probably end season 2 places above relegation. Not great, but safe. He'd use his contacts to bring in on loan 3 or 4 best youngesters and veterans past their prime but still better than AV players. :joker:

Going off-topic for a second, which club do you support Alex?

Arsenal better not go for Laurent Blanc if PSG 1970 fire. He's too much like Wenger.
