I very rarely drink at home with the exception of the odd glass of wine, but that is strictly in the evening when I am chilling.

I reserve my drinking now for 'social' occasions - in or out.

No time is acceptable "to start" since that insinuates a session of drink or a binge. If someone has one beer with their lunch at noon there's no harm in it or a glass of wine with dinner at 6pm, it really doesn't matter. However I disagree with the unhealthy binging that goes on.

If it's before a night out then i'd usually start drinking around 8ish then head to the pubs at like 9-9.30, before going to clubs at 12-12.30. I'm not a fan of drinking during the day

On a typical night out I usually start at 7-8 then pre drinks will be around 9-11.

When I first came to Denmark I was shocked to see beer on sale at breakfast in most work canteens. Aquavit was also to be had with breakfast. But things have changed and now most workplaces won't serve alcohol in their canteens.

Morning Jenny. This is a wise move on the part of those workplaces.

..my granddad would have a whisky as soon as he woke up in the morning, well a huge whisky..he put it in a mug so that my mum wouldn't know...she did know though and when she talked to him about it, he said that he hadn't been able to find the tea bags...

Um depends really if I'm on holiday or meeting friends then lunchtime is ok, mostly if I'm going to have a drink it'll be after 9 though

lostalex 20-02-2016 08:40 AM

i think it's always okay as long as you aren't operating heavy machinery (including cars) or caring for children. I think it's fine any other time.

Lee. 20-02-2016 09:17 AM
