Nah, keep them separate.
BBUK just needs a stable every week schedule. A good 3-5 day weekly task, normal nominations without any twists after the nominations and an public vote eviction at the end of the week. That being said, the Brazilian format does sound intriguing. |

- Housemates compete for HoH - Housemates compete for the Angel (their equivalent of the Veto - winner awards immunity to one person) - HoH nominates one person - Other HMs vote once each to determine a second nominee. HoH breaks any tie - Viewers vote to evict They do throw twists in which can see a third nominee, often through the Red Phone (common in South American BB's) where a phone in the house rings and there are consequences for whoever picks it up. It is the most popular version of BB in the world - in 2010 150m votes were cast in the final, out of a population of 200m - so the equivalent of a show here getting around 45m votes. |

If they can't afford to be a big brother house with cameras left on all day streaming so that the people in the house are constantly being watched... Maybe they are the ones who need to stop calling the show big brother :smug: |

Other countries also get away without live feed |

Which countries... Australia didn't have them..but that show died... Canada and US have them, and their formats are thriving.. And Canada's market is much smaller then the US or the UK. |
And isn't "not able to afford it" what parents say when they can't be arsed
|
I voted no in the poll but if it did, then I still would not turn off and doubt many would really as I think most of those watching BB now are real diehard followers of it anyway.
|
I'd like the UK to have a show with the BBUSA format but obviously under a different name and probably on a different channel airing at a different time of year. We would still keep BBUK and its formatting as well
|
Big Brother's format in the USA was adopted after the normal format failed them. Our format still works and shouldn't be changed. I really dislike the format in the US, the only part I like is the HoH.
|
If you think the BBUK format is still working you're deluded. Indeed if you think BBUK still has a format you're an absolute fool.
|
no because if you want to watch a BBUS format... just watch BBUS. or BBCan.

No. The USA version is boring as ****. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Yes, UK version ran its course.. so predictable..
Yes, UK version ran its course. It has become all so predictable and boring. CBB winner is usually someone from some reality shows like Georgie Shore or Only Way Essex etc. BBOTS should be abolished, at least the current format. BBUK winner should earn his or her place as winner by winning individual challenges, not handed out by stupid public. Most winners were undeserving in recent years. The public voting is so stupid, they always get it wrong, and good housemates always get evicted first. Everyone knows the game and how to play it, how to manipulate public. UK version is so lame now. Time to shake things up! |

no way i don't want it to be different keep it bbuk not bbus

No I like how viewers get to make decisions. I wouldn't turn off though if the format was changed, i would just rather it didn't.
|
I do think they'll switch to that format eventually.
I'd be happy with it, because it'd mean no more stupid "he said she said" tasks and diary room spills that are IMO ruining the show. But they would need to keep the once-a-day-highlights format. If they only did 3 episodes a week like BBUS/BBUK, I'd say no. UNLESS, they gave a free 24/7 feed. |
