Didn't think I'd ever agree with something Trump said, but he's right, we ****ed up the Middle East.

Kizzy 10-03-2016 08:38 PM

I think a few said that before him.

It's not historically been a popular opinion on here though. Although, the people it's been unpopular with are also the same people who have been sort of jumping on the "trump defense" bandwagon of late. dilemma...

You know, I think you're right! That's some twilight zone shiz right there!

I like this part of Trump even though hes doing only for headlines. He's saying things that the political establishment wont dare to say even though they're almost certainly true.

MTVN 10-03-2016 10:08 PM

I don't think Trump's position is that contradictory tbh seeing as what he's criticising with the Iraq war is forcing through regime change whereas attacking ISIS now in Iraq is actually what their government is asking for. Trump's ISIS strategy would be like Putin's (and both men have talked about their respect for each other) where he would bomb widely and indiscriminately and not be too concerned about hitting other opposition forces. Unlike 99% of American politicians I doubt that Trump is too worried about Assad being removed from power.

Are you confused though... or is it just clarification that Trump says what people want to hear in the moment and contradicts himself constantly... and isn't ashamed or afraid of being a liar in the least.

Pretty much plays to his character imo

iRyan 11-03-2016 02:13 AM

His statement doesn't even make sense. An entire religion hates the citizens of a country? Not true. He's grouping radical Islamic terrorists with all other peaceful Islamists who don't hate anyone.

iRyan 11-03-2016 02:14 AM

He is right that the Iraq War was a mistake though.

Yeah he pretty much got me on that one. Not that I want to listen to his rhetorical speeches much.

He's never said anything racist. Neither Muslim nor Illegal Immigrant are races. Both are lifestyle choices. race is not a choice.

I think the west created a problem when it allowed immigrants (legal ones) to practice that despicable stone age religion - the deal should always have been. You come here and the rule is. No religion, no mosques and compulsory science lessons and religion debunking lessons.

We missed a big trick there

Think we would have to get rid of the "traditional" religion that still infests the coutry first, surely? You can't be like "You cannot continue to follow that nonsense! Oh, these people? Yeah they were already here so they can still follow their own nonsense..."

Loving the controversial LT threads as of late.I think this may be atleast a ten pager.

Tbf his not saying Muslims though, his being very clever on his wording as he is describing the Religion itself rather than the Muslim followers.
