Isn't him and his party the main reason why this country has had to put up with the racist, misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic, and intolerant towards Religions organization?

The problem with the Middle East is nothing to do with Islam, it's the fact that these terrorist groups and Militias use religion as a method of control.

Most Muslims in the west are Moderates just like most other religious people. There's a lot of Moderates in Middle Eastern countries that aren't controlled by warlords and terrorists too. To say that fundamentalism is an issue when it's being forced on a country is silly. Remove the Terrorists and the Dictators that benefit from enforcing extreme orthodox Islamic practices and the Middle East wouldn't be much different to the West.

I agree with your points Dezzy - and a great post - but I DID stipulate extremists.

Who doesn't hate extremists?

I agree with all you have said.
Which is why I said I'd like to get into his head and see what he now really feels and thinks of his Middle east actions in the past.

This is a man who led his party to 3 consecutive election wins with overall majorities parties now can only dream of.

Like Margaret Thatcher his opinion should be listened to and much he says taken on board.
Yet because of his time in power, he largely seems to at any rate, get ignored and ridiculed as to his views.
