Regarding the rest of your comment I explained in another comment why it's extremely annoying. |
The whole concept is dumb, no human owns the rights to a certain look or hairstyle and even if they did another person appreciating it and wearing it themselves should be seen as a compliment. People just want to be outraged over everything these days.

Posting black issues on a board full of white people is just a waste of time because they'll just ridicule it off the bat instead of trying to understand where the animosity is coming from.

Show me a black person they embrace and elevate in the metal community. Nah instead black gets, n8ggers don't belong in metal. Nobody in surprised white people are mocking the meaning of ''cultural appropriation'' because that's what they do best demean anything black people find important. |
Stupid story, stupid woman. On a side note, she puts her hands on the lad; she needs to cut that the f88k out. I think she was a bit lucky the guy wasnt more aggresiuve with her.

I did actually say somethings aren't racist or offensive like when the pub man wore his English flag. Nevermind. For years black people went through sh8t now that they're speaking back finally people can't handle it. We all have to be good little nigg8ers and take a back seat. :bawling: |
the kpop community is riddled with this cultural appropriation outrage and other looney nonsense and it's so embarrassing, there's genuine inequality and oppression in the world and people want to get super angry at seungri for wearing a native american headdress it's really not a big deal

Oh please, fight your battles by all means, but complaining about stuff like this demeans black people and makes them look bitter. |

Telling to a black person-but this isn't a black issue though...standard reaction:shrug: What color am I wearing today? I say red but maybe you'll tell me no, it's blue? |

The treatment of Celtic people in both Ireland and Scotland, for hundreds of years, was absolutely abysmal. Do we kick off when we see an English man in a kilt? No. That's just one example of one population being abused by another across Europe, throughout history... But apparently, that's all irrelevant. I personally say keep it simple. If one person wants to embrace another culture in a positive and appreciative way - whether it's "theirs" or not - then where is the bad? Save your battles for situations where there is actual prejudice and hatred. |
