If the car had hit him it wouldn't have made a bit of difference whether he was allowed to stand there or not, the Pedestrian is always right

But it's not used for anything, unless like over 10 cars are trying to get into a patrol station

It's the safest place to stand rather than leg it when a car is very close

I assumed those were for cars waiting to turn into a junction but still allowing the traffic behind them to carry on ahead? :suspect:

No Marsh, cars should not stray on to those markings, so if you are turning into a side street and you are on the markings you have failed your test sorry

Cherie to be my lawyer if it happens again and I get run over?

Yes Will you were perfectly fine to stand there if Marsh runs you down and kills you due to not knowing the rules of the road I will represent your dead body

Are you learning to drive :nono: because you actually can move into these sections to overtake if there is a broken white line, not a solid one though

In the eyes of the law a car is always supposed to be able to stop, eventhough it's pretty unfair sometimes.

Ugh do you know what annoys me though, is cyclists who use the road when there a cycle lane available, pisses me right off and they're allowed to as well, they shouldn't be allowed use the road when there's a cycle lane available to them imo

i use them markings to whizz past slow women who are driving with the steering wheel pressed to their chests as they peer out of the window going at 14mph

Niamh. 26-04-2016 11:34 AM

Good job there's no such thing as slow male drivers :umm2:

Omg, they seem to be oblivious to cars too. The way they swerve about into and out of the lanes. :omgno:
