I was rereading the statements and such the other day, Fiona said that the balcony door was left open so that Madeleine could go and find her parents if needed (?!) yet for some reason we were told it was impossible for her to have left on her own...how does that make sense? Nothing makes ****ing sense. So glad Amarals book is back on sale and hopefully someone has the balls to get it published in English. More and more people are waking up to this bull****..public mood is definitely turning and its about bloody time too. I really hope this poor mite gets justice one day, I don't think she will though. |

I fail to see how pulling out of a massive shows appearance helps in their apparent goal of finding Maddie though...any more than getting a large payoff from Amaral would have. All of a sudden its all 'we don't want the court case to take attention away from the search'...who started the case? And they were all too happy to bleat on about it whilst they thought they were getting 400k or whatever it was. Happy that he was too broke to have proper defence at his appeal as they had all his assets frozen. Unlucky that not everyone else likes to see something so onesided and actually one of the only people who ever actually tried to find out what happened to their daughter. |

Hmm. I was under the impression a donation was made to missing people but they themselves didn't get paid ::laugh:

I've just read the sections from the first four chapters and as someone who remains totally open minded about this, I don't find anything that makes you sit up and say "wtf?" Perhaps if I was convinced it was the parents I'd be clinging to his every word and every suspicion but you shouldn't make accusations based on a hunch.
From what I've read, it sounds like the Portuguese cop is trying to raise suspicion of a media and British police conspiracy. Are we meant to be alarmed that some of the first words Kate said were, "Madeleine's been abducted". I once lost my three year old in M&S and the first thing that came to my then hysterical mind was, "he's been abducted", because as a parent, we are programmed to think the worst. |
