Tonight showed the difference between an experienced and respectable leader like Cameron and a two bob tinpot politician like Farage. It was a rare instance of a very well informed audience posing tough questions and Nigel fell apart coming across as thin skinned and aggressive while Cameron handled it like a pro

LaLaLand 07-06-2016 09:33 PM

Nigel came out better I think, as usual. Never gets flustered and backs up his points fairly.

David looked terrified and got quite flustered a few times and the questions posed to him by the audience highlighted his hypocrisy and frequent mind changing.

MTVN 07-06-2016 09:40 PM

Farage will always be the sloppy drunk in the corner ranting and raving, never a credible politician. No wonder Vote Leave were so annoyed at him representing Brexit.

Northern Monkey 07-06-2016 10:13 PM

Farage obliterated Cameron.

I agree,I am not a particular fan of the Prime Minister.
However he was really statesmanlike tonight, was convincing in his answers and information.

Really credible all through and I hope more people take on board what he outlined and said.

lol i think you got the 2 men mixed up, farage destroyed him again
73% against 17% 10% undecided. farage answered everything spot on despite the ignorance of some questioners trying to interrupt, he was 100% accurate in everything he said. cameron was a walking contradiction a simply endless fiasco of contradictions and u turns. the eu is bankrupt, the commission is unelected, its a corrupt corporate cartel

Should be interesting any points between Boris Johnson and Nicola Sturgeon.
For me other than Angela Eagle the rest need not be there,I cannot see Gisela Stuart making much impact, she is an instant turn off once she starts speaking in my view.

Ross. 09-06-2016 07:03 PM

Did Nicola Sturgeon borrow that suit from Rylan

Johnnyuk123 09-06-2016 07:15 PM

What is Sturgeon doing here? She wants us to stay in whilst wanting Scotland out of the UK. I hope someone in the audience pulls her up on her two faced rubbish!

Kazanne 09-06-2016 07:33 PM

Really disappointed Boris turned out to be such a turncoat.I do love these debates though

Exactly Johnny. I have never disliked ANY politician as much as I do this smug stumpy bitch.

Leave side coming across cool, calmer and more composed. The Remainers are clearly rattled, gabbling and constantly interrupting - resorting to personal insults because they can't win on the facts. Embarrassing.

I doubt again, this will help any undecided voters.
The £350mllion lie still insisted on by Gisela Stuart,(who was far and away the worst for me tonight), even after Boris and Andrea used near enough anyway, the proper nett figure.

I noticed not once did Boris in any way never mind strongly reject the claims he was after David Cameron's job as PM.

I too wonder as to the idea behind Nicola Sturgeon being there, probably I guess, to try to have her goaded as to another Scottish referendum, which to her credit she dealt with really well.

I saw nothing at all tonight that would change my mind that remain is best for the UK,equally I heard nothing I'd say that would change the minds of any voting leave.

For the undecided voters and viewers again,I say good luck and they have my sympathy.
