That's true but a lot will depend on what happens in the Senate and House of Representatives.

Anyway if it is as close contest in the end as the poll in this thread is saying, then I hope it goes like 1960.there was only 0.2% between the 2 candidates then.

However one got the big States and had nearly 100 electoral votes more than the other in the end.
I just do not see Trump getting the really big States and of course i hope he doesn't too.

how can you justify the claim trump will kill more than that?

I never made that claim so I don't have to justify it. But if he was in the hot seat as you suggested I think he'd be likely to do it. I never said definitively that he would.

Agree. The whole race has been run and covered like a reality TV show, the Dems race has been heavily stacked for a Hillary win while the GOP deserve Trump candidacy as a reaction to the Tea party, Fox News and the many horrendous right wing talk shows. Who ever wins the election will start off as probably the most disliked President in history and America deserves that.

the truth 24-05-2016 01:43 PM

trumps problems will come later

Clintons strength is even though shes a dreadful candidate, she has Obama and probably sanders on her side , perhaps sanders as a running mate...and bill Clinton, who is a phenomenal speaker and still very popular with many people. trump really has problems with getting backers who can garner that kind of mass support

Hillary Bad Poll Results Against Trump? She Blames Bernie

:joker:

Its taken Hillary's camp about a week to acknowledge the lead has actually gone and now they've done that they've blamed Bernie.

No the reasons the lead is gone is cuz Mrs Clinton is a horrible candidate. I'm waiting for the grand jury deposition to drop. I bet the timing of them is gonna be perfect to further discredit her.

She couldn't really blame Trump for taking the lead, and she wasn't going to blame herself so the only one left is Bernie :joker:

I like Bernie , but trump is a man of his time and he has arrived at the right moment. radical islam is simply frightening the hell out of the whole world now

Ammi 26-05-2016 04:10 AM

...Bernie needs to be ashamed of himself for thinking that any type of integrity or ideals would ever be a part of this farce, I reckon...silly man...

...(I guess the thing that she seems as dodgy as anything and quite unpleasant and unlikeable as a person, was never an issue though...)...

tbf its been the case for weeks now that Bernie has no chance at all of beating Hilary and still he battles on which is only going to divide the Democrat party more than it already is. Cruz probably stood a better chance of being the Republican nominee when he dropped out than Bernie does now. I can understand why Hilary supporters are saying 'you've had a good run old man but you've lost and its time for the party to unite behind their candidate'

GiRTh 26-05-2016 06:11 AM

Both candidates are terrible. Its no surprise there is disharmony on both sides. The difference for me is that Trump actually got the popular, man on the street, vote. Bernie has been shut out of this election by the media. They would rather show an empty trump podium than Bernie giving a winners speech. When Bernie finally started getting his idea out there Hillary found she wasnt as popular as she thought.,

I agree, with trump in all sorts of controversy you are right to say for the sake of presenting a Democratic Party united,Sanders should just look realistically at how far behind Hillary he is, and concede gracefully.

Part of me wants him to win presidency so stupid people can get a reminder of why far right racism isnt a good idea.
I think a bit of short term pain might be good for the USA and also might serve as a warning for other countries around the world that seem to have regressed and become intolerant of others as well (including the UK).

Yes.
Fear v Love. Dont be scared honey.
Especially dont be scared about things that dont exist.
Psst! that big bad bogieman you seem to be running from. He was made up by politicians that are just as scared but they are scared about losing the money they receive.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would be backing Trump. He's a arsehole. People moan about over-privileged, out of touch politicians in this country... and then there's Trump.

In February he thanked the poorly educated for supporting him. It was a little hint as to who Trump appeals to.

But then so what really. That was more of a dig at categorising people in that way to suggest they're not capable of making their own decision. Having a university education doesn't mean your opinion is more valid after all. And ultimately the only thing that matters is 'a vote is a vote', whatever your background.
