We are an island and that makes our water table much more vulnerable than the USA where they have huge expanses of land. We shouldn't apply any USA study to our own country.

By the way, I vehemently oppose Fracking and have long added my name to petitions opposed to it.

The reason it pisses me off so much, is because I live in one of the towns that the government wants to drill, they've caused numerous tremors and I don't want them ****ing up the water table here. It's really annoying because, the town, the town council and the county council rejected it, by Westminster ignored the wishes of its electorate and their own MPs just so they could line their pockets.

Can you please stick to the topic, I see you have an agenda and are eager to bait me as a Labour supporter.

As said replace them with a party that will not allow govt to ride roughshod over mainly northern communities.
