Chinese is the most interesting I guess but you can't beat the simple pleasure of a pizza. Fish and chips is never as nice as it sounds, would always get a pie from there instead but even that is a bit hit or miss. Find Indian a bit overrated as well, don't know why people always go mad over a curry

Depends what mood your in

Daniel-X 28-05-2016 10:14 PM

Indian by a mile <3

Indian > Chinese > Kebab > Pizza > Fish and chips

Thai

Ammi 29-05-2016 06:12 AM

..of all of those, pizza would be the one I would always choose as a takeaway...

Alf 29-05-2016 06:41 AM

I suspect the reason that Fish and Chips isn't doing so well, is that most people have bitter foul tasting Cod, when you should be having the nice tasting Haddock.

Ammi 29-05-2016 06:54 AM

..and also one of the most expensive takeaway, Alf...whatever happened to cheap fish and chips...

You're tighter than an Olympian's spandex Ammi. Always counting your pennies.

Chinese >> Fish and Chips > Indian > Kebabs > Pizza.

In that order, best to worst.

Black Dagger 29-05-2016 09:51 PM

A nice curry with loads of poppadoms and naan >>>>

I don't really like that much from a chinese, although sweet and sour chicken balls are immense. Pizza is great too, but then I've never been fussy with pizza and would easily be satisfied with an Aldi own one for a quid.

Jake. 29-05-2016 11:18 PM

chinese is the ultimate takeaway (mainly because i love pretty much everything from the menu)

This basically, or Vietnamese ... I chose Chinese on your poll though as it's the closest I guess, and I make better pizza, indian, and fish and chips than I can buy here... and I do not use kebab

Ashley. 29-05-2016 11:21 PM

I've never heard anyone reply to "What takeaway shall we get?" with "Kebabs?"

Jake. 29-05-2016 11:22 PM

kebab is wayyy too heavy to eat sober, i always feel bloated after

I mean... it's cheap and yummy enough that I do use for kids parties and the odd occasion... but Ross, wait till you have tasted my homemade crust, and sauce from scratch... you have no idea

I love spicy food and I just find Indian more full of flavour and a lot less stodgy than Chinese. Chinese is my least favourite on that list actually, there's about one thing I like on the menu of our local Chinese and it's the most expensive thing and it's still not as nice as most things on the Indians menu

I never order Fish and chips from the chipper, I usually either get a batter burger and chips with curry sauce or a chicken supper

BigSister 30-05-2016 03:15 PM

out of that listI probably would choose Chinese although I do like a good curry at an indian

Adamw92 05-06-2016 07:07 PM

I just had a kebab but I'ma have to go with Pizza here.

Anaesthesia 06-06-2016 06:57 PM

Honestly, a chicken shish kebab.

I can cook Indian and Chinese pretty well, so when I want a fast food fix...which is not very often...gimme a chicken shish with lashings of chilli, garlic mayo and hummus.

Amy Jade 06-06-2016 07:03 PM

I hate Indians

I'd go with a Chinese, egg fried rice and chips with sweet and sour sauce
