What about Pat off Eastenders? I know the character died, but did the actress? I thought she did but then I'm sure I saw her on telly.

I have'nt a clue.The last ever episode of EE i ever watched was when Pat died.

Sad news. Can't pretend I'm much of a fan because I'm generally not fond of boxing at all but he seemed like a great character and an icon (if not THE icon) of that world. RIP.

You should have some sort of shock with someone this famous dying, but I wasn't the slightest bit shocked. Maybe because he's had a terrible disease for year's and yesterday I heard he was in a bad way.


Victoria Wood is still the only famous death this year that shocked me, because that one came way out of left field.

I wept unashamedly at this news, Ali was THE reason I first took up boxing at 8 years old and will always be my hero - I worship the man.

He transcended sport and there will NEVER be another like him.
