:clap1:

the new house pictures threads are made when we actually have pictures of the house not pictures of drones and a garden.

These are new pictures though; in pictures that have been released prior to these, the garden was empty and unfurnished.

Overhead shots of the compound are not house pictures. A garden is not a house

Well, this is an entirely different argument, so I'll leave that with you.

A bedroom is not a house. A kitchen is not a house. I honestly fail to see what point you are trying to make here.

Marsh. 06-06-2016 02:13 PM

Whether they're house pictures or not, they didn't need another thread. We've all seen these.

Yeah, I very much doubt the OP intended to mislead people.

As for the snarky garden comments, the garden is always classed as a part of the BB house. Hence why we get garden shots with "House pictures".

The point is that a bedroom and a kitchen are inside a house, an overhead shot of the compound where you can see a bit of the garden is not

Yeah, the operative phrase there being 'with house pictures'. They aren't even proper shots of the garden either so it's a moot point, they are drone pictures of the overall compound. They aren't house pictures

Sorry OP, next time you'll have to specify 'big brother elstree second house garden taken with a 1080p drone' otherwise you're a monster.

A garden is part of a house, just like a kitchen and a bedroom are part of a house. And like I said before, the OP didn't mention anything about "inside" or "interior" so if you expected interior shots then only you are to blame.

TomC 06-06-2016 02:24 PM

Ik they didn't mean it, but it's misleading Ashley because of its ambiguity. Just because the title of the thread does actually apply to what they were saying doesn't mean it's not misleading. Like I could publish a newspaper article saying 'Sick man slaughters 30 animals' when he was just swatting his fly-infested attic.

(sorry I know I'm getting carried away)

Jack_ 06-06-2016 02:24 PM

I already said it's Tellymix and their clickbait articles that are to blame cause the OP just copied the title but okay

Some people must be new if they think aerial shots of the compound are the same as house pictures :conf:

Perhaps I just don't find it misleading because I don't use "house pictures" in the same context that you do. I literally just think about "pictures of a house" whereas you probably imagine interior shots.

This is again however a matter of interpretation.

Jamie89 06-06-2016 02:28 PM

You lot :joker: sorry but I agree with Ashley, it's clearly a pic of the second house. It doesn't specify exterior, but it doesn't say interior either. So if you had expectations of seeing the interior it's because that's what you were hoping for, not because you were mislead.
We'll see the whole thing tomorrow anyway[emoji23]

It's definitely misleading but intention is important. If somebody isn't intentionally trying to mislead people for the sake of it, there's no good reason to be a dick to them about it and I see nothing to suggest the OP is making a conscious effort to mislead people.

People on here are way too quick to jump on people and get themselves worked up in outrage over nothing sometimes.

I wish I just said this in the first place now. :fist: I agree. It's not worth getting worked up over and calling for the OP to be "banned". If this was 4 months ago and we still had a while to wait then alright, but we've got just over 30 hours to go so it's just no use.

Yeah I imagine interior shots because that's what 'house pictures' are and have been throughout Big Brother's entire sixteen year run. This isn't a new thing, when the press release interior shots of the house they are called 'house pictures', when we get excited on here for 'house pictures' we are talking about interior photos, when threads get created on forums about the interior shots they are called 'house pictures'

When we're talking about aerial shots of the compound however, they're labelled as that. And have been for the eight years I've been on this forum and probably before that too. It has nothing to do with interpretation, more just the way things are

Again, Tellymix's clickbait articles are to blame and not the OP but still

Lol at the fumes in this thread. Nice to see the garden finished, which is part of the house.
