Rylan has another exclusive for us imminently (in 24 hours).
But if he thinks that's going to get me watching his sh*tty show, he can think again. |
Also, I'm still not 100% on the houses. Like, why didn't we get a proper look at either of them? :joker:

I still barely know what the second house looks like and we're definitely not getting pics now
To think they spent all that time and money building it and didn't take pics to show it off. A shambles :bored: |
Jack did you like the new chair? Was it worth avoiding the spoilers for?

I think it was the camera angle though because I went to search for the pic and as a wide shot it looks much better. It's good and it might grow on me, but I definitely don't think it's anything amazing |
I just love how simple yet still quirky it is.
Unlike everything else which is so overproduced. |

It's a bit like the outside set tbh.
The pictures on twitter from the audience perspective looked cooler than the camera angles onscreen when it was on air. |
I felt like Sh*t watching the launch and realizing why I'm wasting my time watching desperados cling to fame.
I MIGHT give it one more chance to see if there is anyone normal at all to root for - Might be Jackson or the older blonde lady "Other" So far though, I thought the launch was about a 2/10 |
they shouldnt half-ass this. we have others now, so they should be influential. maybe they could nominate one person a week.
another thought i had is for the public to vote a bottom 6 every week, and lowest goes. it would reset each week. maybe they could do a quasi-veto comp and have one housemate save themselves being an other. who knows! i just hope they follow through with it. |
First impression was that the same psychotic, colour blind set deseigner is still being employed by BB. The housemates, apart from a nucleous of intelligent/interesting personalities, are the usual foul mouthed, empty headed chavs. However, it's early days yet so I'll wait and see.

I love the outdoor set, the tall walls make everything seem bigger in a weird way. Also, no Marcus voice overs
But... The tacky introduction music remains and the lack of average joe housemates :fist: |
I didn't think it was too bad. I was preparing for disappointment but I actually liked the majority of the housemates and they seemed like a decent bunch. I will probably be proven wrong in a few days  The 'Others' seem to be all the nasty douchebags though. The twist still seems lame to me and the constant 'GET READY FOR THE BIGGEST SHAKE UP IN BIG BROTHER HISTORY' is annoying as hell. I hate all these annoying nominations twists. Nominations are my favourite part of the show and we've had about 2 proper nominations in the last 5 series.

The refresh was good.
Titles amazing, exterior set stunning, production/editing style were a vast improvement on the last 5 years. The houses are decent with low ceilings (always important to give it the compound feel), quirky style. And it's great that they've finally gone for the 2 house twist. But with every housemate VT I just felt more and more disappointed. Model. Geordie Shore Lite. Model. Friend of reality star. Model. Actor/Model. Ex-On-The-Beach reject. Model. There's absolutely nothing to these people. Big Brother's premise and what once set it out from the other reality formats which grew out of it was the fact that real people - the local girl from the chippy, the bloke in the hair salon, the builder - quirky though some might be, were plucked from their obscurities and given the chance of a lifetime. Now BB may as well not exist, because what we've got is Love Island in Borehamwood. |
