Honestly, all of them are useless ****ing cretins. What a mess

zakman440 08-06-2016 01:30 PM

The first update of the day and it's not even from today...

MB. 08-06-2016 01:31 PM

Imagine people getting paid to do this

Firewire 08-06-2016 01:32 PM

I don't think they have the money to pay them tbh

*mazedsalv** 08-06-2016 01:33 PM

OK guys, who wants to apply to C5 and then forcibly release at least 10 videos an hour?

I might apply, where can I apply? I have no experience but I can do much better than all of them put together

Jack_ 08-06-2016 01:38 PM

Just tragic

zakman440 09-06-2016 01:34 PM

Nothing again today - it really is laughable how awful the coverage has been so far.

TomC 09-06-2016 02:23 PM

I don't think the general viewers really care tbh, but I for one would like more online exclusives.

Will. 09-06-2016 02:26 PM

Meh I'm not really fussed, I like tuning in and not knowing what's really happened.

zakman440 10-06-2016 02:20 PM

Utterly ridiculous. The digital side is the one part of the show that needed more investment, not less.

Samm 10-06-2016 02:24 PM

I'd rather have a new extension then less BB clips and tweets that I would probably not watch so

TomC 10-06-2016 02:25 PM

Tbh I think the second house was a waste of money :worry:

zakman440 10-06-2016 02:56 PM

Apparently the new showrunner has logged all the complaints about updates and is going to pass it on to the Channel 5 teams:

zakman440 10-06-2016 02:57 PM

(So basically, it's a Channel 5 issue and not Endemol's fault)

Frow apparently hasn't been too kind either:

Will. 10-06-2016 02:59 PM

The tweets were normally boring:

"Pauline has just farted in the kitchen"

Will. 10-06-2016 02:59 PM

Are they using Snapchat? I can't find them.

Big Brother Not Live ‏@BBUKnotLIVE 1h1 hour ago
14:42 - Big Bro has run out of ideas for the series so has set a task for the housemates to come up with tasks. The reward is a task #bbuk

RichardG 10-06-2016 03:05 PM

why does a budget cut impact the twitter page? there's always someone monitoring the housemates right, can't they just post the occasional tweet about what it is that they're watching?

They've cut the Twitter updates though - hence the point of this thread... :suspect:

zakman440 10-06-2016 03:42 PM

Apparently there's going to be nothing at all on weekends:

Jack_ 10-06-2016 03:49 PM

It's amazing how much of a twat Ben Frow has proven himself to be after most of us liked him a couple of years ago

It was obvious it's always been C5's doing. What I find interesting though is that surely if Endemol wanted to provide a feed, providing they have some of the budget left, couldn't they just do it of their own accord? The money C5 spends on the show is surely left up to the production team to how to spend it. Unless they're specifically telling them they're not allowed to provide one?

Headie 10-06-2016 03:53 PM

I guess it's good that Endemol want it though for in future, if it ever gets axed on Channel 5 and brought back at a later date by a different channel then Endemol would probably have an influence on them more

Apparently there's clauses in the contract meaning that Channel 5 has the final say over everything. Although, amongst other options they were apparently going to look at a third party possibly streaming the feed:
