Should be a law against ruining decent people's lives just to sell newspapers

Kizzy 12-06-2016 07:41 PM

I agree he should be able to have an opinion, the backlash came from the suggestion that the cancer in some was caused by their own negativity, however deeply you feel that it isn't helpful to state that to a sufferer or survivor.

Seriously thanks guys but I'm okay.

They caught it early and Cherie, just like your aunty, the NHS have been quick efficient and thorough. For all we say about the NHS, they get a lot of things right. Maybe somewhere down the line we will discover such debilitating treatment isn't necessary and that some rare coco bean is all we need but until then....

user104658 12-06-2016 08:14 PM

I don't think it's the weird machine thing people are up-in-arms about though... so much as the fact that he implied in a tweet to someone with cancer that it was probably caused by them being such a "negative person" (and therefore, partially their own fault, they "brought it on themselves", etc.)

everyone is dwelling on that one word and ignoring all the positives from what he is trying to say. when did we become so hyper sensitive and cynical. the point is try a bit of yoga maybe , check out these electro magnetic options , look at all options, but be careful

No if you actually look at that specific exchange, he is annoyed at the person he is replying to, he thinks he is being a negative person, and specifically saying "maybe this is why you have cancer".

It can't be ignored, it's the whole reasoning behind the furore.. You didn't think he was being hauled over the coals for advocating yoga did you?

He has recovered from prostate cancer and puts some of this down to his yoga machine which emits electro magnetic energy etc

he says hes simply telling people so that they try other things as well as the mainstream orthodox methods

phil schofield and jeremy corbyn and the left have decided he is being an ignorant lunatic, especially as he said cancer can grow from negative energy

his tv comeback is likely to end now because of his views.....cant help but feel this is censorship and group bullying and mockery is dangerous. i cant really see a downside to indulging in yoga mats and the like....I know of many people who lived on for years with cancer, beyond the estimates given to them by doctors. some people use cannibis oil, but again.

wouldnt you or anyone try to find every possible way to fight it?

I cant see why he is being destroyed for this

This is basically why he has been shut down so fast

Good video Chewy, thank you.

The bottom line is, NE clearly believes this stuff cured him and he feels passionate about it. We have no right to take away his beliefs, but he has no right to push those beliefs on people with cancer or people who may go on to get cancer in the future.

Kizzy 13-06-2016 06:42 PM

I read somewhere too you can't state that foods and such cure cancer by law, although I'm sure they can there's the Gerson therapy which produces good results as does cansema and cannabis oil.

That's what that linked video is about Kizzy. Its illegal to advertise anything as a cure all if it hasn't been medically tested, proven.

I feel I am irritated an unreasonable amount by this man's face and voice.

I just had to say it.

[edit to add] And hair.
