Absolutely agree- I would feel the need to ask, and feel a little annoyed that the person had chosen to speak to others before me, as to me that would feel like the other person was trying to present me in a negative light/turn others against me by talking behind my back, rather than resolving the situation with me.
Georgina handled this wrongly, and this irritated Andy, but he seemed unable to let it go after making his initial point. So, both were in the wrong to some degree.
To me it didn't seem anything personal, but more like two uptight people over-reacting due to the stress of eviction looming over them.
If they both make a genuine apology to each other and let this go, that is the likely reason. However, if either one of them chooses to raise this repeatedly or take it further, then it will give us a clear idea of any ongoing tensions between them, and of who is truly in the wrong.
I think time will tell.
