If the boxer thinks he is superior to gay people than your thread is a complete contradiction and hypocritical, wouldn't you agree....you don't care if a bigotted boxer thinks he's superior but you care that you think Andy is.

I disagree that it's a contradiction, depending on how the Tyson Fury thing is viewed anyway. Personally I don't think Andy was in the right about the Tyson Fury situation because it was an award for his sporting achievements, his personal views should have been irrelevant. So I can dislike Tyson Fury as a person, but at the same time recognise that if he's earned a sporting award then so be it. In the same way that I can dislike Andy, but if he were to win a Journalism award then so be it. Not caring about Tyson's award doesn't in any way mean that a person thinks his views are acceptable or that they'd want him to have a prize.
