I'm gonna give up! I love Preston and think it was the sweetest thing like ever! You lot obviously don't :laugh:. Each to their own.

I can't say I watched it I was too busy sticking pins in my eyes but from what I heard and read today my suspisions have been right all along, Preston really is a first class prat and hypercrite!!

If I must but I ain't saying nothing after this! Preston imo was doing fine when they mocking him. I've seen him on loads of things and he seemed fine! He doesn't mind people taking the mic out of him. But people can't say that he should have expecting to have the mic taken out of Chantelle. Thats not taking the mic outta of him which I know 'Buzzcocks' does. They take the mic out of people. But they weren't mocking him they were mocking his wife!He is really proctective of Chantelle and he does love her dearly. I can clearly understand why he walkd. He was just sticking up for his wife when Amstell was clearly taking the piss outtta her being a bit ditzy. It would have been easier to take it and just laugh but he didn't and that I think was amazing of him.

It was very chivalrous but he shouldn't have done it. Plain and simple. He's come out of it looking like a prat. I understand that he's very protective of Chantelle. He'd have to be as she's not the sharpest tool in the box. He should have taken it on the chin. I suppose walking out was amazing and very romantic too, but it wasn't the smart move.

lmao that was the funniest thing ever when he began reading from Chantelle's book :joker: I can't believe Preston actually walked out, he should have known what the show is like, they always make fun of people.

That was the funniest Buzzcocks ever...hah...the quotes from Chantelles book hahah oh dear....The Daily Mail one was the top cap for Preston....as My brother concluded "What a nancyboy!!!" I feel he needs to understand that what goes around comes around and if he can't take it then maybe he should sit down and reconsider his options.

Bit patronising. Just because some people don't agree with you doesn't mean we don't understand his reasons. I personally just think his reasons were stupid.

1. He was NOT doing fine before they started quoting out of Chantelle's book. He was annoyed from the start. He even said so himself! - and maybe it's easier for those of us who aren't his fans to see what's actually happening rather than trying to put a positive spin on everything he does. He spent most of the time before he walked out looking like he was sucking a lemon.

2. Nobody actually said anything bad about Chantelle. They quoted out of her book - which showed it to be a pointless and boring book (or at least the parts they quoted.) If she had written a masterpiece, there would have been nothing funny about it. If you're going to publish a book, you have to accept that some people will think it's wonderful (because they think that anything on earth Chantelle does is wonderful) and some people will think it's rubbish.

3. Preston MUST have known what the show is like. Everyone on there had the mickey taken out of them - but only he acted like a baby and threw his dummy into the corner.

4. Preston is fond of slating other people. I've heard him do it myself, before anyone says I've misunderstood what's been written or repeated. If he is so fond of doing it, he should be able to accept it when people do it to him (and IMO, they weren't even being nasty on Buzzcocks anyway.)

5. How chivalrous that he wants to stick up for his wife and doesn't want to see her humiliated:rolleyes: I know I'm repeating myself, but what about the humiliation that he himself caused his ex girlfriend when he was in Celebrity Big Brother? His behaviour towards her was FAR worse and more inconsiderate than anything said about Chantelle.

Simon Anstell is hilarious. He is a great presenter and very very funny. Just because he upset someone you like doesn't mean he can't do anything.

Of course Preston had every right to walk out - anyone who ever appears on the show has every right to walk out. But that doesn't mean that he isn't pathetic for doing it. Preston should pull his head out of his backside and stop taking himself so seriously.

I actually watched the repeat tonight and have to say I found it throughly amusing Simon Amstell is a brilliant presenter with quick wit and good timing also, he does a great job I reckon and as for Preston :rolleyes:well I think my previous post on this subject describes my feelings for the man.

Probably the funniest episode i have seen.

Preston was an idiot and was obviously spitting feathers way before the show started. The show is about taking the mick out of people or a person and walking off gave them yet more ammo.
