When I was alot longer, like 7/8 and had a few things going on in my life that made me feel unhappy the first thing that happend rather than get upset was to go off my food and feel sick after eating even the smallest amount, it could well be the same with you and if you're getting upset/nervous by something it could lead to a build up of acid in the stomach and eventually lead to being sick which is what I'm told effected me.

Sorry to hear the Dan
Maybe that's what's wrong with me. I do have GCSE's in May and all my coursework is piling up Thanks |
It's fine now but it went on a little while when I was younger, it did come back slightly when my mum fell down the stairs.
It could well be that, exams are alot of pressure and that can soon lead to these sorts of things, it's very common.I'd go to the doctor and they can proably prescribe something. |
There is a lot on ur plate at the moment Soph.. and I agree with what Dan said. I mean, besides ur sister and all the worry that caused you, you do have a lot of stuff to do this year, cuz of ur age and the stage you are in at school.
You need to find a balance. I'm glad you are coming on here still, but I understand why ur dad wanted you to stop. Maybe you could draw up a timetable so that you get time to study and still get time to relax and chill or come on here. A wee bit of organising might help you to balance your life. |
Thanks (again) Linda!
I have compleated a lot of coursework since last night I only have a few essays left |
Good for you girl.... I'm shocking when it comes to studying. I'm looking at going to college this year, and to be honest, I'm dreading it, because I'm so not disciplined and I will seriously have to make the effort to put the time into it.

hehe. i'm sure you will do well.
|
Are you sure it isn't something to do with you being a veggie?
|
LoL.. Mark.. it's not that. I was a veggie too when I was younger, and it doesn't make you sick.

I done it for a wee while when I was 19.. then I got caught, and that's how I stopped. Get some help. You can stop doing it, and build up your confidence again. When I look back at pics of me I was sooooooooo not fat,, but I thought I was huge! |

One thing about the internet.. you are never alone.. when you got a problem, its amazing how many others you find who have or had the same prob.

PLEASE try and seek help. You can get yourself out of this if you act now. Your health is the most important thing, and you are risking it - I know exactly how that feels. If you can confide in a member of your family or someone else you trust - then great. If not, remember there is always support here. But I cannot urge this to strongly - please seek help. You can try your Doctor, but they aren't always as sympathetic as you might hope. If a Doctor can't help you, it's not your fault. Ask to see another Doctor. |
My advice would also to be to get help before it develops into something worse. one of my best friends used to have an eating disorder and it got really bad becuase she just ignored it, so if your still off your food i should speak to someone you can trust or go to the doctor becuase it might just be a medical problem which is making you feel sicj they can sort out.
Hope everything turns out ok  |
In my opinion sophii you have a food intolerance, like allergy to dairy or something.
If you had buliemia you would consciously be making yourself ill |
Anyway.. Sasha, I'm not allergic to any foods at all (just extreamely fussy). I went through this when I was 13 and It went away, I hope it does now

She vomited everyday, went from a size 12 to a size 6 over a few years. Doctors swore she was doing it purposely, but she insisted she werent. One day we went shopping and they had tests in holland and barret for food intolerance, and she was dianogsed. She now has a diary free diet and is fine |

Shes fine..... just cant eat ice cream, chocolate, lasana, pizza etc. Nothing with cheese, milk, cream
Basically shes a boring cow  Its got better though as Tescos and Sainsburys have loads of food she can eat in their "free from" range. It could be anything, an allergy to wheat, milk, nuts. Im allergic to chilli seeds, my throat swells and i have to take an asthma pump thing. For years i thought i was dying, then i read it in a magazine at a dentist by accident and put 2 and 2 togther and got tested. |
