No one has mentioned Thai.

Get on it.

Thai (green) curry was nice the one time I tried it. Should try it more.

my favourite part of Thai curry is the coconut milk base... I usually adjust my indian curries to use coconut milk at home... maybe I need to start making more thai at home thinking on this now

I only ever have Thai when I go out... but it is my food of choice when I do... there is the most divine restaurant in my city... with a great fresh lemongrass and other herb tea that I adore...

I might, thanks! I don't mind anything really as long as it's not too spicy

I love to make a hot veggie curry with home made onion bhajies(don't know if that's how to spell it) on the side.

How do you make yours?

I am reknowned for my curries. I love them and actually have them for breakfast sometimes - in the early hours.

I make my own chapatis, nans and onion bhajis, as well as chutney and raita.

How do you make yours?

2 tbs oil
1/2 tsp ground mustard seed (powder is okay)
1 tsp fenugreek seed crushed
1 tsp ground tumeric
1 large onion finely chopped
pinch chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
100g gram flour (chickpea flour. Can find it in Asian shops)
oil for frying.

Heat 2 tbs oil and fry the spices for a minute. Add chopped onion and stir until coated in the spice mixture.
Turn down the heat, cover and cook until the onion is tender but not mushy.Leave to cool.
Add salt, egg and gram flour and stir well
Fry teaspoonsful of mixture in hot oil, turning them almost immediately. As soon as they are puffy and brown remove with a slotted spoon and lay on kitchen paper to drain. Serve straight away. Makes about 12.

Enjoy.:wavey:
