No meltdowns here,I liked Hughie to start with, but went off him due to his childish reaction to Jason for pressing the button,I still think he's pretty immature but the people I really dislike have all gone.

Andy had every reason to be annoyed, secret task or not...

At first Andy had no idea it was a secret task, he saw Hughie throwing a toddler tantrum demolishing the kitchen, bathroom, also targeted Jayne while being upset (not knowing she was also on a similar task), for all Hughie knew Jayne's melt down was for real, but he still targeted her & laughed about it in the DR.

Yes we all know it was a "task" but vandalising the house & other peoples property was way over the top. Hughie seem to enjoy doing it too, I doubt very much he cleaned it all up himself either, most prob got Jayne to get on her hands and knees to scrub the floor :nono:

He went too far, pouring something on worktops, vandalising the bathroom ? Hope he cleaned it all up but doubt it very much

BB told them to have the Mother of all meltdowns. If BB didn't want a full blown meltdown, do you think they would have asked Hughie? They expected what was done, they had to make it as dramatic as possible. BB could have said "yes, but Hughie don't be too good... because people on the forums will moan about you being too good"

Jayne threw stuff too, do people forget?

Memories need to be checked in this place.

was a bottle of Cola... that and milk is one of the worse things you can throw around the kitchen in middle of summer.

Stephanie Davis threw milk all over the kitchen during her fake rant in finals week, seems her & Hughie were cut from the same cloth :suspect:

Funny, people moaned at Gemma for refusing tasks.

people moan when they don't do it properly

and now people moan if you do it very well.

Forum logic.

difference is, Hughie's task was a secret one, reward: friggin icecream

Gemma's refused to do her bit for shopping tasks, reward: luxury food budget

Big difference.

However the point still stands.

If he refused he's get slaughtered by:

a) the public
b) the housemates

If he didn't do it to the best, he'd get slaughtered by:

a) the public
b) the housemates

Now.... he does it too well and he still gets stick.

People are never happy.

I guess the future of BB...NEVER participate in tasks because the forums are so fragile. :joker::joker::joker::joker:

Hmm, I wonder what people would have said if he refused the task...

"Omg he's not a team player... GET HIM OUT" :joker:

Meltdown and sheer vandalism are two different things,he went too far ,Jayne just proved what a seasoned lair and fake she is

Vandalism....

Yep I'm pretty sure the toothbrush and soaps are dead now. Poor bottles, even if they broke, that £2 would have made a huge dent on the cash.

RIP

People are so over dramatic and i cannot believe they are getting stick for doing a task to their best. I actually can't belie.... actually i can. standard forum. Never happy.

I think people need to stop watching BB. They must faint if they watch previous series.

Did Makosi get this stick during her secret mission? She almost killed someone for throwing water over someone didn't she?

May she RIP. Water must be so hard.

Lets hope in the next few years of BB, they all refuse tasks because people are so offended by toothbrushes.

Are you not going to defend Jason for kicking stuff when the Charlie stuff happened? That wasn't a task, was it? Surely that's vandalism? :joker:

I wonder how you would feel if someone put dirt and grease on your toothbrush?

Disrpectful to personal property?? Lmao his toothbrush was on the floor. Quick run under the tap and it would have been fine. He should be thanking Hughie and Jayne for winning a reward rather than bitching about them over a bloody toothbrush. I can understand him being annoyed before he knew it was a task but calling Hughie immature and a disgrace etc is so over the top and nasty

Hughie doesn't like being reminded that he's in his mid-twenties. He looked especially anxious about his comb-over after that.

First of all he's 21, but Andy and Hughie both looked like idiots.

Even though watching again, it seemed like it was fake to me. They kept glancing at each other as to say "give them what they want", Andy was smiling at Hughie and Hughie seemed different, not the proper confrontational him.

Jan S 23-07-2016 11:58 AM

no one's gonna like their toothbrush being knocked on the floor, let alone in that midden of a house

but what really let hughie down, imo, during that task was his targeting of someone who was - to all intents and purposes in his and other hms' minds - very upset and having her own 'meltdown'. that alone speaks volumes about his personal moral compass.

a lot of people would have been laughing along with him because they knew jayne was on a task as well - but take that knowledge out of the equation for a minute... what kind of person steams into another person who is already visibly upset just for the sake of a task when he could have chosen plenty of other ways without involving them? the answer is simply 'not a very kind one'.

it highlights (in a most obvious way) the difference between someone like himself who doesn't see beyond his own pleasure and someone lilke jason who acts out of the innate desire to do the right thing by others.
