AT LAST....Something we all agree on
BB, Bringing people together 😀 |
God looking at that list from last year....what a snore fest
|
wow at this poll result i love tibb
|
2016 all the way
|
I liked Jack and didn't mind Cristian as a person in last years.
I like Hughie, Andy (yes I like both lol) and Evelyn was okay again tonight without being overly obsessive about Alex, and I can understand why people would like Jayne despite not being to my personal taste. So yeah cutting it short this is the much better final, it's actually better than some Ch4 ones. |

Joel was the only vaguely acceptable member of the final last year.

Hmm first time ever a poll on here is unanimous? :D

Definitely 2016. I actually really like these finalists.
My favourites can change slightly throughout the series but each person who has been my favourite at any stage are all still there in the final. Andy, Jackson, Hughie, and Jason have all been favs of mine at various points. Evelyn has never been a favourite of mine but I think shes ok and nice enough girl. I've gone off Jackson and Hughie and Jason just a little bit a few times but overall am very glad they are all in the final because I like them all again at the minute. Andy and Jayne I've grown to like so much over the weeks and Jayne especially in more recent times though I've always found her very entertaining. I think I'd be most happy with an Andy or Jayne win, but would also be ok with some of the others winning either. So overall a great selection of finalists imo. :) |
Only Danny, Jack and Joel deserved to be finalists last year whereas while there's ones I'd have preferred there this year over people like Evelyn and Jason, I could easily make a case for them both deserving to be there too. The same cannot be said for Chloe and Cristian.
This final for me is as close to the unpredictable big-names one we were robbed of in BB11 as you're gonna get. I think it could quite easily be wide open between Andy, Jason, Hughie and Jackson and that's a great thing :clap1: |
Looking back its shocking how bad BB16 was in every way, especially when you compare it to this year. BB16s only good finalist was Chloe
|
Haha still 100%.
I posted on DS about ALL civilian series on C5, and this year is dominating. Had I did the same BB16 VS BB17 one like this, it will most certainly have been 100%-0% too :p |
2016 >>>>
I only liked Chloe last year but even the bad ones this year aren't as bad as some of the drips that ended up making it to the end in BB16. BB13 still remains my favourite final line-up though. |
0 votes for 2015 :hehe:

This years final >>>>>
I probably prefer last years winner tho if Hughie wins, But if Andy or by magic Jayne/Evelyn win then they will be my favourite C5 winners. |

1. Aaron winning 2. Hottest girls ever (Maisy, Faye and Louise) In every other way, BB12 is disliked on DS. |

I found Joel far too pretentious and precocious! He went in there with all of his Young Tory rubbish and ended up looking like he'd have fitted in better in the Hitler Youth! If anyone's been watching 'Wayward Pines', the guy who's in charge in Season 2 called Jason just screams Joel to me. From what we saw of him in the house it seemed that he's been led to believe (probably by his doting mother) that he's far more intelligent than he actually is too. If you're going to brag about your intelligence you really need to be capable of backing it up, which he apparently wasn't. I liked Nick to start with but it didn't take long for the cracks to appear and the real Nick started to show himself, who wasn't to my liking. By the latter stages of the Series the only one i really felt any connection with was Harry. As infuriating as she could be at times at seemed like she came into the house trying to be her real self and i felt that (away from the artificial constraints of the BB House and it's contrived environment) she had the potential to be an extremely interesting person. Sadly i felt that the combination of her falling for someone who wasn't the person that he portrayed himself to be (he had me fooled for a while too!) and the fact that pretty much everyone else in the house just weren't interested in making the effort to get to know someone that was a little bit different ('cos it's easier to just label people as ''weirdos'') just wore her further and further down until she reached such a low point that it really wasn't a good place for her to be any more. If she'd been in a house with even a couple of the more open-minded and interesting housemates that we used to get back in the Channel 4 days i think she'd have had a much better experience. Due to my severe short term memory problems (probably exacerbated by my vast and varied narcotic intake!) I actually can't even remember any of the other BB16 housemates (apart from Jack, who was the classic 'Early Favourite' housemate who was a victim of being given too much public feedback/adoration too soon and let it go to his head, which, needless to say, backfired on him!). I think he got a car out of it though didn't he ? Yeah........so while i still think this year's BB was faaaaaarrrrrr from amazing it was still a significant improvement on last years! The Other House thing, i feel, COULD have been great, but it just seemed like once they had both lots of housemates in each house they didn't have a clue what to do next. It reeked of the same C5 Production team cluelessness and general ineptitude we have come to expect and fear but sadly they still never fail to deliver it year after year!!! Also the terribly 'thought' out twists! Armageddon Week was another example of this. The way they got rid of Chelsea was the worst of the three i thought. ''Yeah, so we're gonna' just sit them all in a room and tell them they aren't coming out 'til they all agree on who to evict, like a big popularity contest''. Who on Earth thought that was a good idea ? Like him or not, i thought Chelsea brought more (mostly with his delusional, but also hysterical rants!). Luckily after the first eviction there was at least some method and reasoning behind the way the other two evictions were done and they were a lot fairer in the way they worked. I personally thought Leteysha being evicted by Jason was the best moment of the whole series so far. It was probably the most unlikely outcome (apart from maybe if he'd chosen Hughie) for the Housemates and the Viewers and that's one of the reasons it was so fantastic. It also put a stop to a really unhealthy clique that Lateysha was the main driving force behind and i feel that once she was gone the atmosphere and whole mood in the house changed for the better. She was like a parasite sucking the fun out of the house. The fact that she reacted like she did was just the icing on the cake, pretty much saying that Jason should have evicted Jayne over her, like she was somehow a more worthy housemate and more deserving of winning because she was a single mother!!! What an absolute twat! And Ryan.........well it was a vote and he lost the vote! He was lucky to last as long as he did. I honestly think if Hughie or Lateysha had pressed that button and evicted Jason leaving Lateysha in the house the rest of the Series would have been dreadfully one-sided and would have suffered greatly and wouldn't have been anywhere near as entertaining as it was. So i think what could have been a disastrous, Series spoiling twist only ended up not being so because of who was evicted. I think it still could have been ruined after that if Alex had been the winner but at least we know that won't be happening now! So yep..........undoubtedly this year's Finalist are in a different League to the pitiful bunch from BB16 but it could easily have not turned out this way were it not for Armageddon Week (How Bad Things can Occasionally Work out Good!!!). |
bb16 was like the spawn of satan
|
I must say that this year has the best finalist in a very long time, one of the best overall.
Not one boring/irrelevant/floater housemate. Miles away from BB16. |
