I am here for CMD's reaction when she frankie grande tomorrow

Amy Jade 26-07-2016 07:15 PM

She can't prove she'd donate the winners fee unleas she wins can she.

But if prior form is anything to go by she donated all the money from the John Terry and SGE to charity so if she's said the winnings from BB would also partially be donated to charity then I don't see why people wouldn't believe her.

She said she will and theres a this whole thread of receipts to vouch for her charitable nature. What more proof can we actually give?

Yes they are and THATS my point, they are blindly claiming she will give the money to what they claim is a charity, but it isn't ......and they have no proof whatsoever of where her money will be spent and they are using this charity, that isn't a charity to try to get people to vote for her, Im no sucker for this type of thing

Every single one of the housemates feel passionately about something and you can bet the prize money would go towards whatever their passion is. I don't think Jayne would donate every penny towards charity but she'd definitely contribute a bit to something that she more or less does for a living. I don't know why you find it so hard to find the good in some people.

Still baffles me that people call her self-serving and an actress or whatever and completely write off the overwhelming evidence that she might just be a decent, kind human being?

This is giving me flashbacks of Ashleigh being refused money for her ill cats :(

Marsh. 26-07-2016 07:29 PM

Whether she does or does not donate to charity has absolutely no bearing on if she should win or not.

rusticgal 26-07-2016 07:32 PM

The thing is...good for Jayne if she donates to such a worthy cause but not everyone goes round spouting off about it to win votes.
I am sure some of the other housemates donate to causes...but they don't feel the need to brag about it.

Neither does she. It's been brought up by others to discredit her more than it has by herself.

I should just go back to doing that really after seeing what you 'contribute'.

Exactly...no different from the 'single parent' plea!!

Shaun 26-07-2016 07:37 PM

The only times the dementia campaign has been mentioned:

- Once by Jayne, introducing herself to the house
- Several times by Natalie, in an attempt to call her a liar and discredit her
- Several times by Chelsea, in an attempt to call her a liar and discredit her
- Once by whoever it was that wrote a letter to Jayne

So yes I can see how that one time she's brought it up can be seen as desperate "bragging"...

irrespective of what she will do with her prize money, she is now at 50/1 with the bookies, so if you have faith in her, go for it

She is on newspapers for her work fighting for a carehome, did you even bother reading anything???

Not sure there is any price or warranties/proof required on raising awareness. Anyone/everyone who has contributed to this thread is definitely aware of dementia. Therefore you could argue Jayne has done a good job...

Great point.

She's got everyone talking about a cause close to her heart

Jayne's introduction Weakest Link style was hilarious. Don't you pretend it wasn't. :fist:

Well that can be said about other housemates...it's people's perception of them. I call her an actress because her tantrums are absurd for a woman her age..and the pool drama was well OTT...even Emma and Rylan could keep a straight face.
Jaynes not a bad person by any means and it seems that she does good things for a good cause...that doesn't stop her from being sly or a drama queen...which I think she is. We all have good and bad things about us but when you support someone you defend them to the hilt. Jason's not perfect but IMO Jason is a decent person and a nice guy..but he has been called many a bad name by a certain few on here with an inability to give examples of their accusations.
It happens year in and year out...:wavey:
