Bear reminds me of my parents.

Lack of self-awareness, indenial, cruel, massive liar, and of course self-righteous behaviour.

In fact it probably explains why I'm not rooting for Bear despite me usually rooting for big characters.:joker:

Bear is just trying to kick start the Goody Goon Squad cause basically they're boring b-stards...and the best reaction they have is to first rise above it like food Christian folk do...and then try freezing him out..BB must wonder why on Earth they invested their money in these people.

But if it's something he asked for, how is it a wrong? And Bear is the biggest boring bastard in that house.

I messed up with my phrasing...,I was asking why people who have been against retaliation are ok with silent retaliation ...neither of those points are my view at all...,I think they def SHOULD retaliate and I think they should make a better fist of it then just ignoring him....that is just not interesting to watch and it's weak. Like Bear said in first few days, Ricky is too nice ...and he is, it's nauseating to watch, no one real would be in that house with Bear and not speak out ...and when he sat with Bear saying he was fine about the coffee cocktail he wasn't being nice he was being fake. He should have been backing up Frankie.

hot2go 11-08-2016 12:37 PM

Maybe I'm the twisted one but this is big brother....but I love the conflict between Renee and Bear...and I love the fact the Aubrey can't stand him, it's just too bad she wants to radar her way to the final instead of winding him up....I loved Frankie going for him and I loved James pouring coffee over him...and best thing ever was Renee calling him and Heavy Dumb and Dumber....this is why I like the show....I like Bear, makes me laugh, but I want to see the others wind him up like he does them....I am so disappointed with most of them.

Winding him up is exactly what they're doing by ignoring him though

Well if the bully gang want to ignore Bear, that is fine. But let's hope they don't crawl to him to take part in any tasks with them.

He should refuse to take part in any and incur fails.

They can't have it both ways.

Bear has wound up antagonised almost all HMs 'freeze him out' is his own doing so they don't get sucked into his BS antics (that's all on him noone elses fault) we call it Karma.. what goes around comes around..

They may be quiet but at least they are not egotistical nut jobs in need of a valium and a labotamy! unlike Bear who appears to need both

As for the 'goody goon squad' this is NOT ex on the beach web cam pay-per-view etc this is CBB.. we don't want eejits we want fun.. drama fights... not perverts on parade for the sake of attention..

there is NOTHING celebrity about Bear Chloe Lew or Marnie IMHO.. they are simply a bad sign of the times.. where it's considered popular to have as much sex as possible drink so much they vomit and shag as many things that have a pulse...

I would take goody goody downright down to earth humour over these vile human beings anyday...

Look at past BB members Brian Dowling a prime example of a superb wonderful outstanding HM did he have to resort to being an asshole or getting his end away in the toilet to win? no.. he did it by personality alone .. THAT is what a great HM is.. personality the ability to make others laugh without being a dickhead :)

Exactly...he can't come back at them...he hasn't any control. It's the best way to wind him up. :cheer2:

Yes it's a start ....but it's not enough really....it's a bit rubbish....and it's def not interesting for the show or the viewers....neither is going on strike and refusing to do anything at all....I expected more from Sam, James and the Americans who claimed they would be ruthless and are top of their game in this field of entertainment.

I worry for anyone that truly believes Bear is being bullied.

And for those who repeatedly criticise Ricky for doing nothing or for being 'too spineless' to respond to Bear, yet when he did put Bear in his place, then criticised him as being out of order for doing so! The irony and hypocrisy of it all is bewildering, and that is why it is sometimes very difficult to take such arguments seriously and ridiculous to even pay lip service to such comments.

y.winter 11-08-2016 03:02 PM

Oh no... It's becoming an Helen edit, isn't it?

power2thepeople 11-08-2016 03:12 PM

He's a victim of his huge ego not being stroked by indifference and that's the biggest part of his person that matters to him the most. They won't keep it up though. Too many reactionary characters in there who will pass the point of dignity when he notches things up (and he will).

I don't think by calling Bear 'ugly' and raising his voice, it was a very good example of 'putting someone in their place'.

Exactly. All he wants is a reaction so by giving him none, they gain the upper hand. I'm a bit surprised that they haven't done this sooner.

hijaxers 11-08-2016 03:49 PM

'Victimized' he needs vaporizing , pulverising at the very least ! I bloody detest him and his trollop.

Pete. 11-08-2016 03:53 PM

Bear has sensed that playing the victim card at this point could buy him a few more votes... Luckily most can see through him

I could not keep my cool with bear at all.. if i was in there.. I would had hid his cigs... poured eggs / milk anything yucky in anywhere that would piss him off ages ago... karma.. and revenge ;)

in a social group of any kind, if one member behaves so extremely as to affect all the others in a negative way, that person will become ostracised. they used to banish people, onceuponatime :D with bear, if he's ignored it's at his own demand and cuts off the oxygen his behaviour needs to be able to have the effect he desires it to have. since there are only a couple of weeks left, and he has his playmates, it doesn't constitute being victimised and he knows this as much as the next person.

i'd have gone and found his cigarettes and ''accidentally'' tripped up and dropped them into the pool. oops, silly me....

Either an enabling crew or the knowledge he can cause reactions which show others in a negative light. Showing no reaction to his infantile pranks changes everything eventually. The pranks in isolation with no reaction would become tumbleweed moments. I don't think the others will totally manage it and I doubt Renee will but without any reaction, he is a very tedious man child.

it isn't, he's just trying to milk it since they're cutting off the reactions he wants to play off to make it all about bear.

Since he survived easily last week by just being himself, I honestly doubt this is his thought process.

Bear is the most aware of the public & trying to be so extra to gain votes so I'm sure this is all being thought through
