For a prank like that to be funny, it has to be spontaneous for me otherwise it just looks stupid

Liam- 14-08-2016 09:41 AM

What part of this childish, repugnant behaviour is actually funny to you?

I wonder if he went out roaring at audrey for having her period all over the floor?

jet 14-08-2016 09:51 AM

I have come to the conclusion that Bear is a bit 'special' if you know what I mean. More to be pitied than despised.

Remind me never to go on a coach trip with the folk with no fun in them :joker:

Can't speak for the thread starter but for me personally, the funny part is not him or his actions, but the way the self-righteous ones in there respond to him. Weirdly... It wouldn't be funny at all without the "bores" crying about it :joker:.

The response on here is entertaining, too.

Funny how they describe both instances in the video titles.

It wasnt his finest moment to be fair, but i guess they now have a legitimate reason for nominating him now.

It was about as funny as watching a moronic attention seeking man-child pouring tomato soup on the bathroom floor... oh wait... :umm2:

Channel 5's drag of him on their website on the other hand was slightly amusing...

"This time, he uses all his brain power to come up with the clever plan of pouring soup everywhere."

smudgie 14-08-2016 11:02 AM

Two things in that house they look forward to, food and beer.so he trashes the food, they needs to make sure they get all the booze and refuse him any.
He thinks it's ok to take more than his share and decide to allow them a can etc if they havnt upset him.
I am sure he would find that hilarious...not.

Disappointing Heavy :bored:

Watching a grown man act like a child isn't funny, it's just sad.

I guess it might be amusing if you're a pre-teen, but as the Ch 5 description of the prank said (with just a hint of sarcasm!), "This time, he uses all his brain power to come up with the clever plan of pouring soup everywhere"......

Just about sums him up- it is a bit dismal to think that, even using all his brain power, he doesn't seem able to devise anything more original, witty and entertaining to do. Awkward and embarrassing to watch a 26 year old believing this prank was amusing.

Yes, Amy Jade, I am in agreement- my sense of humour prefers something a little more sophisticated!

Now if you want to see Bear doing something humorous, just watch his reaction to the security guard in the diary room! Now, that was funny!!

Bear gives Katie a storyline....wow, he's a miracle worker ...she should be thanking him...typical Bear, always helping and giving :laugh: never appreciated or thanked ....pleased to see Katie has a new function button and lost her temper, i was beginning to think she was only programmed to cry.

And there you have the problem- he is not naturally and spontaneously funny.

And you are so right when you say this 'prank' and the commentary were about attention seeking and getting airtime..........again!

Garfie 14-08-2016 11:37 AM

Credit where's it's due- I did actually laugh at Bear's impression of Lewis when he was with Chloe in the bathroom. That was pretty amusing.

hot2go 14-08-2016 11:37 AM

Just seen the thread about Heavy throwing food around....I can't wait to see how this all started.....

No Chuff, I did not get chance to watch that one, because I was busy - my wife made me do the washing up.

 I admire your passion H2G. Bear does not deserve you.

Shame some people on this forum still have an immature sense of humour.
