Bear and Lewis bullying an older woman into a panic attack, disgusting behaviour.

I wouldn't think a genuine panic attack was easy to fake..I have never attempted to fake one mind so maybe my opinion on this is a bit irrelevant but it is so much more than fast breathing and fanning your face like some seem to think it is.

It was probably what bought it on...:fist:

Not sure if anyone blaming Bear/Lewis for this actually has any experience of panic attacks, but from my experience (and that of a few friends too), they are not 'caused' by anything. They come completely out of the blue and often for seemingly no reason at all. Which is why they are so damn scary. If there was a trigger I could try to avoid that. As it happens, there isn't :S

However I guess if there is a stick to beat them with, it will be grabbed. Even something as serious as this.

I feel sorry for Sam, as a sufferer of anxiety and past panic attacks (not had one in a while) i can say how awful they are and you actually think you're going to die.

In my case i can say that stress and anxiety go hand in hand with panic attacks, although like Vicky i've also had a panic attack that came on from no where, i would say that if you suffer panic attacks the Big Brother house would possibly not be advisable.

bereavement is one of the major causes of panic attacks, and Sam has had to deal with that in the last year. If anything, that's a more likely contributer than anything bear or anyone else has done in the house

If she was diagnosed as a panic attack sufferer, surely the bb docs wouldnt have put her in. Its all BS for the sympathy vote. My sister in law has them for attention, now she has been diagnosed with adt or some other bs letters to disguise her pitiful actions.

Panic attacks aren't generally dangerous or anything though, why on earth would it mean she couldn't go in? Also I am quite sure you cannot deny someone a 'job' because they have an illness.and sure BB is classed as work for the celebs

Nobody is denying anyone anything, I am just saying that Panic attacks are all different and easily fakable. Strange how shes getting them now the votes are needed. I don't trust her after her BS the other night. She thinks she is a diva.

Agree...no one has any right to say she's faking a panic attack. I don't like unqualified armchair diagnoses.

Works both ways, can you diagnose she wasn't faking it.

south12345 18-08-2016 08:10 PM

Panic attacks can happen out of the blue for some but they can also be brought on by a build up of tension, which no doubt the house is full of.
To be stuck in an often aggressive and threatening environment, that you cannot escape makes it all that worse.

I for one am glad they didn't show it because watching someone experience one is quite distressing
