Whats the Aubrey thing though..must have missed that?

The Sam thing, ffs she said he squirted water at her. Hardly attempting to hurt her on purpose :joker:

I've never seen anyone say this?

everyone seems to agree that it was vile but outside of that Aubrey has been great

user104658 23-08-2016 09:08 PM

:joker: people really do skew their perception of things based on who they do and don't like, eh? Yes it was a STUPID thing to do but people pull stupid pranks that backfire all the time. He should be sorry, he shouldn't pull the same prank on anyone again, but calling it "assault" is straight up ridiculous. It's like seeing someone jump-scare a friend as a prank and them having a heart attack... then calling it "murder". Just no.

Sam blamed Bear for it, but it was an accident.

This x100.

You truly do see some bizarre things posted on season, thats for sure :D

jaxie 23-08-2016 09:17 PM

How was Mrs Spit hurt? From what was said he put a pie in her face and spoiled her make up, nothing was said about hurting her.

Spitting in someone's food and drink on the other hand... :nono:

What I find bizarre is that the same people will condone something vile when someone they like does it, but grasp at any accident when it's someone they don't like. Either you condone things or you don't, people should be consistant.

If Ricky had done this they would have said it was an accident.

Ricky would never have done something so childishly immature

It could have happened to anyone.

Exactly, if it was Ricky or any of them not only would it have been accepted as an accident, people would probably be talking about how bad they must be feeling about it. Probably even if it was Marnie people would conceed that it was a stupid / immature thing to do but an accident with no physical harm intended. But not Bear - then it's ASSAULT!

"Excuse me sir you just stepped on my toes! I'm making a citizen's arrest you foul bandit..."

Maybe so but that doesn't make it any less an accident. An unintended outcome of a childish prank is not an "assault", assault implies intent, it's just completely and deliberately inaccurate to call it that.

Ahh come on Dezzy, this is beneath you really. I know you dislike him but to be saying **** like this is just silly  Need I remind you that the entire viewing audience is not made up of 13 year old schoolgirls excited to tune in and possibly see a penis?

Withano 23-08-2016 09:28 PM

I always accidnetally grab water bottles and squirt it at someone with enough force to hospitalise them and blind them for four hours.

It cause damage to Sam's eye membrane, that would be a painful thing to go though.

Plus, she was thinking I could lose vision in one eye or have damaged eyesight for life for a few hours until medics told her otherwise after treatment.

I would be thinking that in that that situation.

BB wants BEAR TO WIN THE SHOW, WELL DONE SAM FOR EXPOSING THAT FACT.

No other housemate has had a more rigged edit in the history for channel 5 airing of big brother.

hot2go 23-08-2016 09:32 PM

Well Aubrey wants him with her in the final instead of Sam, Katie or Marnie so she clearly doesn't feel she's been assaulted

caprimint 23-08-2016 09:33 PM

Sounded as though she was trying to create a drama about it all and get some sympathy on her side as always. It obviously wasn't Bear's intention to hurt her.

And pieing Aubrey in the face after she'd done her make-up sounded hilarious :joker:

Vanessa 23-08-2016 09:34 PM

How is it assault? He squirted water , fgs! And Aubrey was not hurt, she just had a pie on her face and it messed up her make up.
