is High up their Ladder

I hope he's not wearing hot pants when climbing that ladder?

Well if the story that a paper was going to do that (and a far as I am aware that is an unsubstantiated rumor) they probably thought he was breaking the COE rules and so it was a story

If they are in the Public Eye, Jamie89,
the public have a right to know.

He did not have to be a Bishop.

I disagree, there's a difference between wanting to know something and having a right to know. There's no need for the public to know his sexuality so it should remain his decision.

Gay bishop: Appointment of Nicholas Chamberlain 'major error' says Gafcon

The appointment of the bishop of Grantham was a "major error", the conservative Anglican group Gafcon has said.

Bishop Nicholas Chamberlain revealed he was gay and in relationship on Friday.
He was consecrated by the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby - who has said he knew about the bishop's sexuality.

But Gafcon, a group which includes conservative Anglicans around the world, said there had been an "element of secrecy" in his appointment.

A statement from Gafcon said the news about Bishop Chamberlain would "exacerbate" divisions within the Church of England and the wider Anglican world.

I agree Jamie.

Anyway why he should be judged differently for his sexuality is ridiculous.
