but some new things to know: you can also bake a cake or pie or biscuits yourselves and as i'm one of the 2 judges, i can say this for sure, you'll get extra points for baking things yourself, but finding pictures of cakes from google is allowed, only not very helpful in getting high marks :)

This sounds like a good idea but my opinion is searching for pictures from google could be boring and it's not really baking. People could bake or even design it with different software or even drawing it.

I think this could work really well, having people bake or draw. Obviously we couldn't expect people to,back three things for 10 weeks or so the drawing could be an option with finding pictures as a complete last option.

call it multiple choices of doing these cakes, or pictures from google, or drawing them or baking them yourselves and sending a picture of your bake on here :)

.....hmmmm, maybe it needs some thought of how it's going to work, Nicky and have a definite score plan laid out..?.../so for instance, contestants can only get a potential maximum score for a googled pic but a higher maximum potential one for a 'designed bake' and a higher one again for an actual bake and posting of it..?...multiple choices but with only the potential of an appropriate maximum points attached..?...

(It was Luke's idea really, I was just supporting it :laugh:... not me stealing credit :fan:)

It could be an alternative for people who'd rather not bake or use pre-existing images... so if you'd rather not design them you wouldn't have to. It would just mean there's different ways of taking part to suit different peoples preferences.

It's up to you of course though Nicky, they're just suggestions

Just came up with this, it could work quite well. The person with the most points that week gets Star Baker, the person with least gets eliminated. It removes any bias people might have to some extent too.
