But yeah I went to one shop where they had one of those kilo sales, you can get a kilo if stuff for like £11. I now have like 20 vintage shirts that would of probably cost me like £30 each had I got them from somewhere like asos.

Omg I really wanted to go to one of these sales but didn't get chance in the end </3

There are no charity shops around here tbh. :worry:

I think the best way to not be disappointed by primark is making sure you try everything on and give them a good test in the changing room. Like when I tried on some skinny jeans I tested sitting down in them and bending over etc.. Just to be sure and I ended up putting one back because it didn't pass that quality assurance test and felt too flimsy.

You can pick up some good things in Primark, their PJs, socks, tights, they have these heavy leggings they sell for 6.99 which literally act like Spanx :hee: as long as you are not expecting items to last years they are fine!

:joker: I did that all the time before, I would start going to pay and then see something else I liked.

I like Primarks vests and t-shirts, including their long sleeved t-shirts. They cost so little you can just dispose and replace if they get marked.

When I go to visit family I drive through Sunningdale (where a lot of the stars and footballers live) and visit the 'cancer research' shop. If you get there early there's a lot of worn once top labels. I once got some Jimmy Choo boots for £50. They would of cost me over £500 to buy them new. I also got some vintage Porshe fold up sunglasses for about £20.

I love bargain hunting and so I'm bound to like Primark.

I am missing Primark while I am in Australia. But started to love h&m a bit more now! I thought h&m used to be a bit bland back home but since going to the american and australian stores there are quite a few bits to buy! Unless I like their summer stuff more than the winter stuff?

I had never shopped in Primark, until last year when we were on holiday. The washing machine in our holiday cottage didn't work, so I had to rush out and buy half a dozen T-shirts each for me, my husband and son to last us until we got home. I ended up buying socks and undies as well and I have to admit that I didn't expect them to last very long, but they were cheap so that didn't matter. Anyway 6 months later and they are still going strong after being washed and worn loads of times, so I may well shop there again next time we come 'home'.
