I'm not a religious person but I would have a lot of experience with Catholicism and I can't speak for NM but my opinion on it would be, similar to Catholicism religions need to evolve as the world moves forward. Women in most religions at one time were treated like second class citizens because that was how they were treated by society, being "stuck in their ways" to me, would mean some religions still treat their women like second class citizens

Good answer.Yes that is what i meant.Countries like Saudi Arabia beheading people and treating women disgracefully.They may not change their ways soon but the more middle eastern countries that lead by example may have influence over the really devout Islamic countries.Maybe Islam could very gradually evolve just as other religions did. |
