I liked him on CBB16 though but if i re-watched it now, I wouldn't like him at all because i hate him.

He left with dignity as the others showed thier ignorance and selfishness by ignoring him as he went.

I'm not really sorry for him, but I'm kinda worried for Stacy.

She was receiving a lot of good will because of his treatment of her. Although the way he treated Stacy was pretty vile so at least she doesn't have to put up with that anymore.

Love him or hate him...he wasn't the most boring tbf.

jet 13-01-2017 10:21 PM

Don't like the guy at all, but I've always said only the public should choose who to evict and I stand by that. People who voted to save him tonight must feel ripped off. I did feel sorry for him when nobody even waved him goodbye when he went up the stairs. That was kind of sad.
Apart from all that, I'd rather dull as dishwater Callum had gone, but Austin was the next best thing for me. But it's a shame he was ignored like that and not even get any best bits...

I didn't like him in CBB19 but I don't see why your CBB16 opinion of him would change just because of his second appearence when you originally liked him? Surely his CBB19 appearance wouldn't change what you liked about him two years ago on a completely different series? It's like someone going off Aisleyne's BB7 appearance just because they didn't like her in BB16. I get people's opinions change with rewatches but it hasn't been that long and it seems you'd probably still like him if it wasn't for CBB19. I judge both stints seperately tbh. I still appreciate his appearance the first time but not so much the second time round. I couldn't care less about about him (or any other HM) as people outside the show because I don't know them personally and I don't really keep up with any of the HM's after the show has ended.

He was awful in CBB16 too you were all too busy hating on Farrah and worshipping Austin taking up rental in James's arse.

He was vile to Gail, Janice and Chloe for absolutely no reason.

because a re-watch is after CBB19 and i would still have a hate feeling towards Austin. He was basically the same in CBB16 really but I put it a side. you know that episode of how i met your mother, where no one knew their bad traits until someone mentioned it and you hear a glass smash in their head and they finally saw it, it's like that. I could be wrong and like him again because i haven't actually re-watched it but there's like 95% i would not like him.

Emma said she thought that was because they think he has not been evicted and gone into another house,so maybe it was that but it was still ignorant of them

I don't know about other's, but that's certainly not why I liked him during CBB16.

And I've never once said Austin was an angel during his first stint either. And let's not pretend Farrah wasn't just as much of a **** as he was.

EspeonBB 13-01-2017 10:45 PM

No

Although I'll admit that if the same thing happened to someone I liked I would be pissed off

smudgie 13-01-2017 10:47 PM

I love surprise evictions, spices up the American a bit?

Completely, I ****ing hate this show at times and I speak as someone who hated Austin

I think now that Stacy isn't being constantly ground down and excluded we will see her up adorable funny side a lot more often. I think she'll be fine :flower:

I understand that people don't like non-public voted evictions but all the recent ones have been pretty great I think, Austin's and Ryan's evictions have been two of my favourites ever

This, Ryan and Austin going was fantastic

and tbf with the newbies i don't think Austin leaving would make any difference really because we have better people (:fan:) seriously they seem more fun.

Not even slightly. Justice has been 100% served!

y.winter 13-01-2017 11:15 PM

A little tiny bit yes, but mostly not.
I didn't like him on CBB16 either so I'm happy to see it actually happening and so quick.
Basically, he looks very unstable (private life, emotionally, in the house) so I think BB is the last thing he needed, but since he went in so confident, he should deal with it. And sort himself out away from the limelight because it won't get any better that way.

MTVN 13-01-2017 11:23 PM

Yeah I did, for one the whole thing felt pretty farcical and amateurish and I really don't think its fair. The housemates were given all of 30 seconds to make their choices, they obviously didn't think it was serious, and its a really sh*tty way for an eviction to be decided and makes the whole process so random that it all counts for nothing. Unless someone is kicked out or walks then everyone deserves a proper exit imo and not even having a best bits just takes the piss even more

Jason. 13-01-2017 11:35 PM

Another reason I don't feel as bad is that it's CBB and they're all getting paid anyway so it does it really matter? It's different in Civilian BB where they're all competing to win the £100k prize and someone being evicted empty-handed without a public vote and having their chances of winning the money pretty much shattered when the public didn't even want them out.

MrWong 14-01-2017 12:02 AM

It was a **** way to go. I'm glad that he's out but I don't feel bad for him.

JTM45 14-01-2017 01:14 AM

Nope!
