Most of the comments that were seen as racist came entirely from her mouth. Not only the one you just listed but also saying she (Shilpa) should **** off home, calling her a dog and mimicking her accent.

Jade's crime was the oxo cube argument and "Shilpa Poppadom". Jo just mentioned something about Indians eating with their hands.

The comment that Jo was pulled up on during her eviction interview was:

"That's why Indian's are so thin because they throw their food up all the time."

The hand comment was Danielle. Both really ignorant though.

The '**** off 'ome' comment was the only one she acknowledged. She said she meant Shilpa should leave the house not that she should go back to India.

She also said she had never watched the series back. As a viewer I thought and I think the therapist thought that it was because she was ashamed of her actions but when pressed further she just said 'I don't like watching myself back!'.

The backtracking was so obnoxiously insincere, but barely anyone will still judge her for it because they won't remember.

It's easy for her to backtrack and say she didn't mean her home country, but given the racial undertones in all of her other comments, it's really damning. Plus even then that wasn't the worst thing that came out of her mouth.
