The economy is doing considerably better than predicted by the scare-mongers, so any regrets are misplaced. And who cares about a minority that would vote for someone because they thought they would lose - that's assuming they weren't just winding people up.
And if anyone actually has any regrets - tough, if you vote in a public vote without conviction you live with any perceived consequences.
You Won't get your second referendum if you truly believe in democracy.
