I found this amazing last night, great acting from Sheridan. Looking forward for the final part.
|
i watched it, could've been better but not bad as for the acting :)
|
I was channel flicking
|
I could have sworn there was already a thread I swear I was posting somewhere about it yesterday.
But yeah I thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the final part. |

I live a couple of minutes away from where Shannon was found and the estate is a five minute drive. Council estates get lots of bad press but this community showed how they all rallied round and came together in such a shocking event. I really enjoyed the first one and looking forward to the second one. We can only hope that Shannon can overcome and be stronger as a person from the evil wrongdoings of her so called mother. I truly hope she can be happy in the rest of her life.

Second episode has been brilliant, one of the best episodes of British TV in a long, long time
|
A tad amazing :clap1:
|
An amazing episode
Shezza, Sian, Gemma and Siobhan were fantastic. |
(Sian in particular I think)
|
Amazing episode. Much better than the first. Shame it OBVIOUSLY has to be a one off cos the cast were FANTASTIC and worked great together.
|
Whoever played Nataleh was fantastic

Both episodes were amazing and all of them acted really well especially Sheridan :clap1:

Think it's quite likely that most - if any - accolades for this will just go to Sheridan when she's already so acclaimed. Think Gemma Whelan was by far the most compelling actress here.

Watching episode 1 now.
A slight horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach throughout it all. |
Fantastic series and great acting all round
|
What the ****, did Karen genuinely get up and start dancing to the police woman's ringtone? And was Shannon's step-dad literally only playing games throughout the whole ordeal?
It's hard to gain perspective on what is dramatised in these kinds of programmes. I can't believe it was produced with Shannon not knowing too. |

I take it this is the woman who Sheridan Smith is playing: I wonder why producers never portrayed the character as someone who was more suspicious of Karen. |

So the police were on to them quite fast then. It;s so weird to think I just started senior school when this happened.
Also, just realised Natalie is Sian Brooke's character, not Sheridan Smith. Sian is a fantastic actress. |
How no one didn't listen to Natalie irl is beyond me.
When someone's best friend thinks something's up, then something's up. Even stuff like Karen not caring where her remaining children stayed whilst she went partying until Natalie offered to put them to bed in her house for her. |
